一、教学目标：

1、初步掌握单词date、birthday、when、present和句型When’s your birthday?My birthday is on the ……What would you like as a birthday present? I’d like……

2、整体理解A部分对话。

3、初步理解日期的表达方法，并会在情景中运用。

二、教学重难点：理解A部分内容，培养学生的阅读能力和自主学习能力。

三、教学过程：

Step1.Warm up 1.Greetings 2.Free talk T:What day is it today? Ss:It’s……

T:What does this sign mean?（课件出示各种标志）

Ss:It means……

T:What date is it today? （课件出示儿童节、教师节、国庆节三个节日）

Ss: It’s……(板书上面的三个日期的表达方式：the日of月) Step2.Presentation 1 .Teach:When’s your birthday? My birthday is on……

a.T:My birthday is coming.It’s on the…… of……When’s your birthday?(板书，教授) S:(引导学生回答)My birthday is on……（板书，领读）

师依次问几位同学，结合学生的回答强调具体日期前用介词on。

b.Pairwork：同桌互相问答，询问各自的生日。

2.Teach:What would you like as a birthday present? a.T:Do you usually have a birthday party?

S:Yes,I do. T:I usually have a birthday party,too.And I can get a lot of beautiful presents.(师出示一个包装精美的礼盒，让学生理解present一词的含义。) b.(师打开礼盒，拿出一只钢笔)T:I ’like a pen as my birthday present.What would you like as a birthday present? S:I’d like……

c.Pairwork:小组内操练句型，互相询问想要什么生日礼物。
