Analysis of the teaching materials: This unit is mainly about talking about the food and how to use what would+subject+ like? .to ask and how to use subject+would like some..noodles, beef, mutton, cabbage, potato, special, would like sth. would like to do sth. would like sb to do sth ... to make sentences to answer. Let the students talk about food. The topic is related to the grammar “present tense”. This grammar is very important for the students in junior school. The content of this unit is closely related to students’ daily life, so it’s easy to encourage them to communicate with others by using what they have learned in this class. They are very familiar with it. so it’s very easy to arouse students’ learning interests. Teacher can use video and pictures to attach students’ attention and reach teaching aims.

Analysis of the students：

The students are from 65 junior school students,grade1. The English level of the students is uneven, most of them have poor foundation. So their attitudes in learning English trend to be indifferent, majority of students are not so active in English class, they have no passion in class, some of them even sleep in class. So this is a very big challenge to the teacher. Teacher need to make a better teaching plan, add more interesting ideas to the lesson, attach students attentions and improve their learning interests, let students say more and do more.

Teaching Reflection

This unit is mainly about talking about the food and how to use what would+subject+ like? .to ask and how to use subject+would like some..noodles, beef, mutton, cabbage, potato, special, would like sth. would like to do sth. would like sb to do sth ... to make sentences to answer. The lesson went on well. Students were quite excited and motivated. But more practice and checking are needed for students in the next lesson.In this lesson I emphasizes the students as the center, use multimedia teaching and the creation of scenarios, to encourage students to be actived in exploring the cooperative learning, breakthrough the key objectives. Because of language problems and auxiliary design accurate, reduced the expression of difficulty, blackboard writing is vivid, the enthusiasm of the students can be mobilized, let the body fully reflected. When make the group cooperation, attention should be paid to control utilization and time gradient of human resources, improve the efficiency of cooperation.

Possible problems

1. Some students are not able to present their opinion out loud maybe because of shyness, the lack of vocabulary, and inactiveness. I should be the facilitator, let students be interested in the topics and encourage them to talk in complete sentence in English. 2. I have prepared some things to catch their attention, So I think the students’ enthusiasm and interest could be improved.
