一、教材内容分析

本单元主要围绕谈论天气

（Talk about weather）而展开教学，由此涉及到对不同天气的表达。在此基础上又复习和巩固上单元所学习的现在进行时态。基本目标是让学生学会描述并谈论天气;学会使用现在进行时描述正在发生的事情；学会表达在不同的天气背景下能做什么；学会表达自己对天气的喜好并说明原因。本节课是本单元的第一节课时，主要任务是通过本课的学习，使学生掌握一些有关天气的词汇，并能运用相关的句式与句型询问和描述天气情况，同时进一步学习巩固现在进行时。

（一）知识掌握：

词汇：rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow, weather，cook，study

句型：How’s the weather？（What’s the weather like?）

It’s sunny/ windy/ cloudy/ raining/ snowing.

（二）能力培养：

学会用英语来询问和描述天气情况。

培养学生的听说读写和运用语言交流能力. （三）情感体验：

培养学生学习英语的兴趣，乐于参与课堂活动的积极感情。

三、重点、难点

重点：1、掌握本课有关天气的所有单词。

2、能够运用所学句型How is the weather? (What’s the weather like?)

It’s sunny/ cloudy/ ……进行口头交际。

3、听懂本课所学的听力材料。

难点：如何用英语询问和描述天气。

四、教法选择与学法指导

以学生为主体，通过多媒体图片的展示学习关于天气的单词和语言目标”How’s the weather?”

”It’s …”.再通过任务设置、情景模拟、个人展示、结对活动、小组活动、听力练习等方式进一步练习巩固。最后通过完成练习题和课后作业进行检查反馈，整体把握本节课所学内容。从而提高学生的听说读写能力。
