Unit 12 Don’t eat in class. Section A

一．教学目标

（一）知识与技能：

1.

学会本课单词及短语：rules, arrive, late, run，hall, dinning hall, fight, eat，listen to， wear . 2.

理解并运用Don’t句型以及can的用法。

3. 学会使用以下语法：熟练使用目标语言谈论对某些规章制度（校规、社会规则）的看法。

(二）过程与方法：发现法，讨论法，问答法，多种方法并用，促使学生主动探求知识。[来源:学,科,网Z,X,X,K]

（三）情感态度与价值观：能用英语表达和制定一些简单的规则，理解没有规矩不成方圆；无论是在学校时还是以后走上社会都应当遵守规则，按规则办事。

二．教学重点/难点

（教学重点）Language points 1. 词汇：

1)名词n. rule, hallway, hall, fight，tissue，litter 2) 动词v. arrive, listen, fight, wear，spit，litter 3) 词组：dining hall, listen to，cut in line ，wait in line，…

2. 句型：

We can’t …./Don’t …/We have to …

Can we … ? Yes, we can./No, we can’t.

（教学难点）Difficulties

1.祈使句的否定形式。

2. 如何谈论规则。

教具准备：图片、多媒体视频、智慧课堂、 PK板

三．教学过程

1. Warm-up （课堂导入）

T: Let’s begin our class with a video. After your watching ,can you guess what we are going to talk about?---Rules. Rules are everywhere. First let’s talk about the rules at our school. 【教学设计说明】通过视频来导入本单元的主要话题——规则。激发学生学习兴趣，并引发关于规则的思考，没有规矩，不成方圆。帮助学生培养并理解规则的重要性,并导入到学校规则的话题中来。

2. Presentation （创设情境，构建新知）

(1) Present the new words: classroom, hallway, dining room, fight, arrive late for class, listen to , wear a hat. (2) Flash some pictures quickly on the screen. Lead in the target language:“Can we ......? Yes, we can. No, we can’t. We can’t .......”“Don’t ......”

(3) Discuss other school rules, and then present in oral. 【教学设计说明】图片教学法是呈现新知识最简单有效的方法之一，学生通过图片观察，在情境中能更直观的理解新单词的含义。通过目标语言，让学生谈论并抢答谈论学校其他的规则，进一步拓展学生思维，达到思维的训练，并且调动了学生的积极性。学生抢答计入小组分。

Drill (练习) Present 1a,2a&2b.Look and say. T:Are they good students? What rules do they break? Students quickly do it and race to answer it.

Work on 2a&2b. Students race to answer it. 【教学设计说明】此环节为机械操练，使不同层次学生初步掌握目标语言。通过此环节，进一步巩固了本课所学的词汇和句型，帮助学生掌握情态动词can表示许可的用法。学生抢答回答，计入小组分。

Expand thinking（拓展思维）

T：Just now we talked about the rules at school. There are also many rules outside school. Let’s talk about the rules in public. For example, can we cut in line/litter around/spit everywhere…? 【教学设计说明】此环节为发展思维训练，词汇拓展环节。由校内规则拓展到校外规则，引导学生思考，在公共场合我们应该注意什么，进一步巩固目标语言，并且为后面的讨论作了语言的积累和情感上的铺垫。

Discussion in groups.（思维训练）

T:You know there will be a big event in October in our city. That is the Military World Game. As a student, what can we do to help our city to hold a successful game? Present the pictures about the Military World Game, and lead the word—volunteers. Students discuss the activities in two ways： What can we do during the Military Game? What can’t we do during the Military World Game? 【教学设计说明】此环节是思维拓展训练环节，小组合作探究讨论。根据社会实践，在我们武汉准备迎接世界军人运动会的阶段，我们作为中学生，该如何遵守社会公德，提升城市文明形象，来用我们自己的行动来助力军运会。进一步拓展运用目标语言，训练了学生的语言输出，提升学生语言及思维能力。

Present the discussion. T:Each group leader write the results of their discussion, and takes photo of their activities. Then read out their discussion. 【教学设计说明】此环节是小组讨论结束，展示成果环节。学生在小组内进行说和写的训练，并展示了小组成果，把所学的目标语言进一步巩固和升华，培养了学生的合作意

识，团队精神，进而促进学生相互学习，共同提高，提升了学生的学习自信心。小组长在展现成果的时候，同学们既锻炼了听力，又巩固了知识。组长呈现表现，计入小组分。

Summary （总结）

T: Of all the groups, group 6 got the most stars. And you all have done a good job. I’ll put up these posters on the wall of our classroom. A I think ,with the help of us, our city will hold a successful and wonderful game! 【教学设计说明】教师评价小组分，引导并总结。助力军运会，从我们做起。做遵守规则的好学生。

7. Homework （作业）

Tell the people around you, what can you do for the Military World Game? 【教学设计说明】布置实践性口语作业，让学生运用所学知识，进行自主发挥。
