【教材分析】

本单元的主題是通过谈论动物来熟练运用“why-because”句型提出疑问，解决课题。通过对本单元的学习，学生能够对动物的性格及自己对动物的喜好的原因进行交流表达，并能够熟练运用“why-because”句型来询问他人的爱好，解释原因。通过对动物的描述，让学生从潜意识意识到动物的重要性，让学生自觉的爱护动物，保护动物，进而激发学生对大自然的保护意识，有利于帮助学生树立环保意识，增强环保观念，成为符合科学发展观的新一代人才。

【学情分析】

七年级学生爱动求知欲强，接受能力较强，经过七年级上学期半年的任务型课堂的熏陶，他们对课堂上的英语活动已经习惯，要求参与课堂英语活动的热情很高课堂表现活跃。他们基本上能够接受大密度的语言输入和语言输出的课堂授课模式课堂上，他们也能够进行多人合作学习。

【教学设计思路】

本堂听说课是从学习者的角度设计的。以电影疯狂动物城招募警察帮助小动物为主线，一共设计了四个环节。由词到句，由浅入深，层层递进，设计的基本思路为“说---听---练---用”。通过不同的学习环节，设置不同层次的学习（通关）任务，寓教于乐，让听说课变得轻松，有趣。

听力题拆分为两部分，降低听力难度；且听力每播放完一遍后稍作停顿，给学生充足的时间反应并完善答案。
