教学设计说明

学情分析:

四年级的学生对英语学习有着很大的热情,他们敢于表达,乐于倾听。通过三年多的英语学习,他们积累了一定的语言知识,大多数学生可以在图片等媒介的帮助下认读各类已学词汇,能进行简单的问答交流,也能用简单的句型描述某些人或事物,具备了一定的听说读写的能力。

在学习本单元内容之前,以farm为主题的单元共出现过3次:一年级初次接触farm主题时,

只是要求学生能借助常见的动物感受农场区域、农场特征;三年级再次出现farm主题时,则要求学生了解更多的农场动物,能区分动物的数量(单复数),并能进行合理问答;尽管如此,学生仍对农场中的动物保持着极高的热情和兴趣。

在语言知识方面,学生已经学习过:chick, hen, duck, pig, cow, dog, cat, sheep等一些关于农场动物的词汇,并能模仿它们的叫声;学习过句型Don’t …来劝阻他人不文明的行为,如Don’t pick flowers. Don’t climb the tree. You can… 表达能够做的事。句型They are …They like eating …来描述某类动物以及其喜欢的食物。

模块教学任务分析:

4A M4的模块主题为The natural world(大千世界),涉及到的单元主题有农场、有公园,有气候。这三大主题在以往的教材中均有提及,但具体的话语表达要求和对学生的能力要求有递进体现。

通过本模块三个单元的学习,不仅让学生理解、掌握教材所规定的语言知识与基本技能,而且还要求学生能在相关的场景中进行适当的话语描述,初步具备相关的语言能力。与此同时,形成爱护动物、热爱自然、保护环境的良好意识。

作为教师,要了解学生学习本模块之前所积累的语言基础,通过背景知识的激活来提高教学成效。与本模块学习相关的言语材料包括常见的农场动物类单词、相关天气状况的描述以及To be句型(含单复数)、To have句型和一般现在时态(如like)等。

1. 能读准字母组合sc-和sk-的发音。

2. 能朗读、拼写核心词汇hay, grass, corn, meat并能在情景中正确运用这些词汇。

单元教学设计思考:

本单元的主题内容是The Natural World, 教材为学生创设了在参观农场的语境,情境贴合学生的生活实际,我灵活运用了教材中的这一情境,并结合学生实际情况对教学内容进行了整合:第一课时主要整合Listen and enjoy, Look and Learn和Look and say板块,要求学生能了解并理解参观农场时的规则;第二课时在第一课时的基础上,整合Look and learn及Say and act板块,要求学生能了解农场动物的住所以及饮食情况,并加以表述;第三课时整合Think and write及Learn the sound板块,在巩固参观农场时的规则、农场动物住所、饮食的基础上,进一步了解动物对人类的益处。第四课时是Read and match板块,通过故事阅读,激发学生对农场动物的进一步理解与认识。第五课时是Play a game板块,通过此语言活动与练习板块,巩固单元的核心内容。
