I’m watching TV. SectionA 一、教学目标

1、掌握现在进行时的构成：be(am,is,are)+V-ing 2、掌握重点词汇：clean,read,watching TV,doing homework,eating dinner,talking on the phone 3、能够熟练运用以下句型进行交际：

--What are you doing? --I'm... --What’s he/she doing? --He/She is... --What are they doing? --They're... 二、学情分析

经过一学期的学***部分学生掌握了英语的一般现在时，这个单元重点学习现在进行时。同时要求学生掌握本单元的词汇、重点句型等基础知识。另一方面，又要采取多种措施，注意培养学生对英语的兴趣，培养良好的学习习惯。

三、重点难点

. 1、现在进行时的用法和动词V-ing形式的构成。

2、能够正确运用现在进行时来谈论正在进行的动作。

四、教学过程

活动1【导入】

Today we are going to learn Unit6 I'm watching TV SectionA and talk about"What are people doing?"Then do some actions and let the students guess "What am I doing?".Then look at the pictures on the screen and ask "What's the girl/boy doing?. 活动2【讲授】

Teach the Present Progressive 1、

Tell the difference Write down the V-ing forms by another lines of go, watch, do, play and eat on the blackboard. Ask the Ss to have a look and find the difference between them. For example: go and going, watch and watching, do and doing, etc. Then, ask the Ss to read them again. 2、Introduction Tell the Ss what the Present Progressive is.(现在进行时表示现在正在进行或发生的动作，它的表现形式为Be+V-ing----这也即为它的结构式。）

3、Activities. The teacher acts several actions and say :"What am I doing?", help Ss answer: "I'm reading a book."(The other actions: talk on the phone, clean the classroom) Write down the three sentences on the blackboard, and ask the Ss to pay attention to the important words underlined:

eg: What am I doing?

I'm reading a book. eg :What am I doing?

I'm talking on the phone. eg: What am I doing? I'm cleaning the classroom. 活动3【活动】

Ask and answer questions about what people are doing in the picture. Eg :--What's she doing? --She's reading a book. The Ss can practice different sentences upon the verbs . 活动4【练习】

The teacher have the Ss some exercises, and ask the Ss to do at once. <1>--What's Tom doing? -- He_____________. ( read ) <2>--What's his mother doing? --She_____________. ( write ) <3>--What are they doing? --They_____________. ( play soccer) <4>--What are David and Mary doing? --They_____________. (have dinner) <5>--What's Jenny doing? --She______________. ( run ) (In fact, the Ss don't have enough time to finish the exercises, so they can go on and finish these exercises after class. 活动5【作业】
