Teaching aims and learning objectives 1. 通过本课的学习，学生能听懂、会读、会说单词与词组：spring, summer, autumn, winter, hot, cold, warm, cool，have picnics,go climbing 等。

2. 通过四个季节的学习，学生能正确表达四季的气候特征及人们相应的活动：In…, it is…. We… .We go… We like…. 3. 能正确地朗读并理解语篇内容，在图片和语言提示下复述语篇。

4. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常用语谈论不同季节的气候特征以及在不同季节里人们经常从事的活动。

5. 初步体会英语诗歌的美感，感受多姿多彩的季节与生活。

6. 通过小组合作，学生能运用所学知识，有感情地介绍自己创编的小诗。

教学难点：

能初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常用语谈论不同季节的气候特征以及在不同季节里人们经常从事的活动。能运用所学知识，有感情地介绍自己创编的小诗。

The analysis of teaching materials 本单元主要学习描述不同季节的气候特征，以及在不同季节里人们经常从事的活动。教师先鼓励学生根据自己平时的观察，用已有的语言知识，对当前季节做简单描述。在学习目标词汇和新句型后，让学生感受小诗的美，在充分体会小诗的基础上，进行小组合作学习，循序渐进地创遍小诗，让学生通过本课学习，感受五彩缤纷的季节，享受丰富多彩的生活。

The analysis of learning 学生在三年级和四年级上学期已经学过一些运动类的单词以及表示自己感觉的单词hot 和cool。因此在本课教学时，老师一方面激发学生的已知，另一方面激发学生的学习兴趣，积极参与交际，培养学生的语感，体验小诗的情感，同时让学有余力的学生能更进一步拓展语言运用能力，创编小诗，感受季节的美。
