教材分析

本课教学内容出自粤人民版《英语》五年级上册Unit2 Months中Reading and writing 板块。由两个文本组成：

（1）

My favorite month is April. My birthday is in April! My father’s favorite month is the month before April. It’s always nice for camping. My mother’s favorite month is the month after April. She likes to swim. My brother loves the last month of the year! （2）

I have two favorite months. One is May. Another is October. The Chinese New Year is in January or February. It’s a long time to wait! 二、

学情分析

授课对象是五年级的学生，他们具备了一定的英语学习基础和英语学习能力。本课前，学生已经熟练掌握一年四季，天气、季节的活动等词汇，能够简单描述各个季节的天气。但学生自主阅读的训练相对缺乏，学生静下来阅读的时间寥寥无几，更没有时间动笔写作，当然也就谈不上对阅读或写作技能、策略、方法的掌握。

学生学会运用句型“My favorite month is…. Because….”表达自己喜欢的月份以及原因。

2.让学生通过带着问题阅读，学会阅读的方法。

3.能根据图片或上下文猜测生词的意思，并逐渐养成按意群阅读的习惯。

情感态度和价值观

1. 学会表达自己喜欢的月份和原因。

培养学生敢于用英语对月份进行描述，加深学习英语的兴趣。
