第一课时

一、教学目标

能够理解掌握并熟练运用本单元关于“Months”主题的重点词汇、句型以及语音知识.教会学生能借助图片和实物准确表达月份名称及其前后位置。

1.学会新单词January, February, March, April, May, June, before, after. 2.学会新句型When’s winter holiday? It’s in January or February. Is … after …? Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. 3.学会歌曲February is after January.

二、教学重点，难点。

1.掌握1——6月的月份名称并运用Target句型对其进行前后位置的比较。

2. January和February的发音。

3.月份之间“前before、后after”的表述。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warm- up 1. A song “It is Hot”.

2. Greeting. T: Good morning, children. Nice to see you again. How are you today? What’s the weather like today? Today is so hot.

Step 2 Lead-in

Have students listen to a song “The Months”, then lead out the title Unit 2 Month.

“January” and “February”

T: How many seasons are there in a year? S: There are four season. There are Spring, Summer. Fall and Winter.. T: Today is a very special day. Because the winter holiday is coming. . Do you know When’s the Winter holiday? T and Ss: It’s in January.

(Lead in “January”. )

When is ….?winter holiday

T: Now, please follow me. “January”. “January”, Then check the students one by one. T: We also can use the simple form. “Jan.” and writer the big Letter at first. T: Who’s birthday is in January?

T: Wow. January is a special month. Because S1’s birthday is in January. Who’s birthday is in January, too? Please stand up. T: When’s your birthday?

Ss: My birthday is in January. T: Wow. Your birthdays are in the same month. You can have a party together. You’ll be very happy.

T: You are so great. Look at these two words, and can you find out the same place?

S1: “uary”是一样的。

T: Yes, they all have “uary”. Have students repeat the sentence.

Ss: “March and April, March and April. When’s April Fool’s Day? It’s in April. It’s in April. I like April Fool’s Day.”

“before”and “after”

T: Can you guess? When’s my birthday? Is before January？Or Is after February？

(lead in “before” and “after”,并操练) T: Let’s read and chant together. Ss: It’s in March. T: Great. Today is Tuesday. Yesterday was Monday. (老师边说边翻日历) Monday is before Tuesday.

T: Tomorrow is Wednesday. (老师翻日历)Wednesday is after Tuesday.

T: Is January before February? … (继续利用月份的单词对before and after进行巩固操练。) （遵循知识由浅入深的原则，运用旧单词“星期前后的表述”来引出新单词before和

after从而降低了学生学习的难度，也为即将学习的新句型做好铺垫。）
