1.学会用英语说十二生肖。

2.会用英语谈论今年,明年,去年是什么年。

S2: What does an ox eat?

Ss: An ox eats grass. S2: What sound does an ox make? Ss: Moo, moo. (Other questions)

Have a riddle to learn “rabbit.”

·Practice these dialogues in groups.

12. Play a game.

The teacher have some cards of animals. And the students should pass them one by one. At the same time, all of the students clap their hands and say: What year is it? When the teacher says “stop”, the student who get the cards should stand

up and choose one of the animals. Others ask him\her “What year is it?”And this student answer according to the card that they choose.

After several times, we also say“What was last year?”and “What is next year?”

13. Listen to the audiotape and think about three questions about the text. Answer the questions and then read the text together. Step 4. Have a match Show a flash, there are many animals in this flash. The students should write down their names on the paper in order as quickly as they can. The group which writes the words most and best is the winner.
