知识与技能分析
1、在学习本单元内容之前,学生已经了解了不少场所的称谓表达、场所设施以及场所内所进行的相关活动等;同时,他们也能较为熟练地运用to be、can句型、there be句型、一般现在时态的各种相关句型。
2、通过本单元学习,学生将掌握常见的生活居住空间的表达(即不同的房间名称),了解其各自的功能、特点与所能进行的相关活动;同时,能通过Where are you?的问答表达自己所在的具体居家位置以及正实施的活动,这不仅是现在进行时态的一种状语表达特征,也是本单元的学习核心,即现在进行时态的陈述表达。

Period 1: Visit Sally’s home Material 1:
Hello, I’m Sally. This is my home. Look at this room. It’s a living room. It’s interesting. This is a dining room. I can have breakfast in it. Beside it, there’s a kitchen. My father cooks dinner in it. Look at this room. I do my homework in it. It’s a study. There is a
bathroom and three bedrooms. I love my home.
Material 2:
On the second floor, there are three bedrooms. One is for my parents. It’s big. My brother’s bedroom is blue. My sister and I have a pink room. We sleep in our bedrooms.Between the bedrooms, there is a bathroom. It is very clean. Every day, I wash my face, wash my hair and wash my body in it. I enjoy myself here.
Material 3:
This is Sally’s bedroom. It’s big and tidy. There is a small bed in the bedroom. Sally often does her homework in it. She likes her bedroom.
Material 4:
This is a room. It’s small. We can wash my hands and feet in it. We can wash our
faces in it.We can wash our hair in it too. What is it?
Material 5:
Look, this is a kitchen. It is small but it is clean. There is some chicken in the kitchen. Ben’s father is in the kitchen too. He’s cooking now. Wow, It smells great!

Sally: Dad, where are you? Dad: I’m in the kitchen. I’m cooking dinner.
Sally: Oh! You are cooking. Sally: Where are you, Mum? Mum: I’m in the bathroom. I’m washing my hair.
Sally: Oh! You are washing. Sally: Where are you, sister? Amy: I’m in the bedroom. I’m making a model plane. Come and help me, please.
Sally: OK! Let’s make it together.
Sally: Oh! It’s too hard. Where are you, brother?
Paul: I’m in my bedroom.
Sally: Come and help us, please. Paul: OK! I am getting up now.

It is Sunday afternoon. The Chens are in the park. Dad is watching near the river. Mum is standing beside the bench.Sally is flying a kite on the lawn.Her sister is smelling the flower. Her brother is riding a bicycle. What an interesting day!
Period 3: Sally’s holiday Material 1: Mum: What a beautiful beach! I love the sea and the blue sky.
Peter: Me too. Look! There are many shells in the sand. I’m collecting shells.
Mum: They’re very beautiful. I’m taking a sunbath on the beach chair.
Peter: Where’s Dad? Mum: He’s sailing a boat on the sea. Listen! He’s singing.
Peter: Where’s Paul?
Mum: He’s playing beach ball with Tom over there.
Peter: Is Sally making a sandcastle? Mum: No. She’s swimming in the sea.
Mum: Let’s go swimming too.
Peter: OK.
Material 2: The Chens are having a holiday on the beach in Sanya. Sanya is in the south of Hainan island. Hainan Island is in the south of China. The sky is blue. The water is clean. The sand is soft. What a beautiful beach!
There are many shells in the sand. They’re beautiful. Look at Peter. He’s collecting shells on the beach. The sun is nice. Mum’s taking a sunbath on the beach chair.
The wind is soft. Look at Dad. Dad’s sailing a boat on the sea.
Paul is playing beach ball with Tom over there. The water is clean. Look at Sally. She isn’t making a sandcastle. She’s swimming in the sea.
