二．教学内容分析

More Practice：Never give up是本单元阅读补充，内容为一位著名的动物学家Jane如何坚持理想，决不放弃，将爱好发展成事业的故事。

Project：Who has the same hobby as me? 其设计目的是利用本单元主题结合所学的文章，让学生开展分组讨论，深入思考个人兴趣爱好

和事业之间的关系。

三．学情分析

学生对于hobby和career这一话题非常熟悉，但是这两者之间的关系：是否能将自己的爱好发展成事业？如何发展？或许没有经过深刻的思考。青春期的孩子更应该树立正确的兴趣观，对未来职业有所憧憬并为之努力。初一（2）班同学性格活泼开朗，在艺术特长方面有很大优势，这样的课题在贴近他们生活的同时一定会带给他们更深层次的思考和驱动。

四．教学目标

语言能力：

1.

了解与hobby 和career相关的词汇

2.

通过一系列课堂活动的开展，让学生能够了解实现梦想所需的个人品质的相关词汇

3.

根据题材的特点，利用时间发展的线索通读全文，获取文章大意。通过找读关键信息，进一步加深对文章的了解

4.

通过小组讨论与合作，提高口语表达能力

思维品质：

1.

总结实现梦想所需要的个人品质，对照主人公的品质，挖掘自己的潜力或者找出自己的欠缺

2.

通过小组讨论，内化驱动，在今后的生活中树立目标并且为之奋斗

学习能力：

通过对文章标题和图片的观察能够预测主人翁的相关信息

2.

对于不同题材的文章，学会找到关键的线索快速获取文章大意

3.

能够在小组活动中提升合作学习的能力，通过榜样和同伴品质的积极影响，更加坚定自己的奋斗目标，弥补不足之处。

教学重点：

利用小组活动，细读文本找出主人翁是如何将自己的hobby变成career，哪些品质是能从文本中找出支撑句的。

教学难点

同学们在一系列课堂活动的引领下，树立正确的职业观，发现自己的优势和不足，通过努力实现自己的梦想和事业。
