一、教材分析：本课是本单元的第一课，主要内容是李明向Jenny和Danny介绍中国的传统节日春节。通过本课的学习，不仅能增进学生对传统文化的认识，还能培养学生交流文化的能力。

二、学情分析：六年级学生已经掌握了一定的英语学习技能，形成了一定的综合语言运用能力。学生对本课的学习内容会很兴趣，能够掌握较好本课的重点词汇和句子，能够用简单的英语描述春节的习俗。还要特别关注学困生的学习能力，过程和效果。

三、教学目标： （一）知识与技能目标：1.学生能够听懂、会说、认读、书写下列词汇：February，door，interesting 2.学生能认读、理解并运用下列句子：Do you know any special holidays in China？

（二）过程与方法目标：1.通过看图片领会英语单词和句子的含义及用法。1.能用英语简单的描述中国的传统节日——春节。2.通过对中国传统节日——春节的学习，学生感受到传统文化的底蕴，促使学生热爱我国文化。

（三）情感态度与价值观目标：1.培养学生阅读英语的兴趣，帮助学生树立学好英语的信心，培养学生学会阅读、热爱英语的态度，并在成功中体会英语学习的乐趣。2.培养学生合作意识和团队精神，引导学生积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务。

四、教学重点：(一) 学生能够听懂、会说、认读、书写下列词汇：February，door，interesting (二) 学生能认读、理解并运用句子Do you know any special holidays in China？并作答。

五、教学难点：学生能运用所学知识用简单的英语描述春节习俗。

六、教学过程： Step 1 Warming up 1.Greetings. 2.Review about Christmas by asking and answering. 3.Sing the song: Happy Spring Festival T: This song is about the Spring Festival. Do you know any special holidays in China？Let’s look and say our special holidays in China.

Today we’ll learn something about the Spring Festival. 设计意图：课前和学生进行简单的日常对话，可以拉近学生距离。用前面学过的句子进行对话练习，巩固复习前面所学知识。通过介绍中国的春节、元宵节、

端午节、中秋节等节日，以及唱英语歌曲，引入新课，板书课题。) Step 2 Presentation and drill 1.T: The Spring Festival is the Chinese New Year. It is like Christmas. This is the important holiday for Chinese people. 2.Have the students listen and answer the questions . T: Li Ming is in Canada now. Did Li Ming have fun at Christmas? What’ s Li Ming’s favourite holiday? Let’s listen and answer the questions.

3. Learn the key points by showing the pictures. （1）T: We know many about the Spring Festival. When is the Spring Festival this year? The Spring Festival is in January or February. It’s on the first day of a year on the lunar calendar. 设计意图: 强调2018年春节的时间2月16日，让同学们知道春节是阴历新年的第一天，联系到实际生活之中。

（2）The Spring Festival is a happy holiday.I love the Spring Festival.That’s interesting.讲练单词interesting。

设计意图:多媒体展示人们为春节做准备的忙碌场景的照片，办年货，贴春联，挂灯笼，贴窗花，以及春节合家看晚会，包饺子，放鞭炮的热闹场景，让学生通过回答感受春节的美好。

（3）T: What do you do for the Spring Festival? S: We buy new clothes.（学生回答，课件展示，领读句子，操练句型。）

S: We clean the doors，the windows and the floor.（学生回答，课件展示，领读句子，讲解单词door，操练句型。）以此类推讲解其他句子：We buy new clothes. We clean the house. We clean the doors, the windows and the floor. We make dumplings. We visit our family and friends. Kids get lucky money. 设计意图:多媒体展示，学习买新衣服、打扫房间、包饺子、走亲访友、收压岁钱的句子。

（4）2. Tell more things we do for the Spring Festival. 设计意图: 多媒体展示过年做的其他事情：set off firecrackers放鞭炮、paste Spring couplets 贴春联、have dinner 聚餐、 hang up lanterns 挂灯笼，拓展介绍一些春节要做的其他事情，从课本走进生活，调动孩子们的学习兴趣。

（5）Reading the text and say what they do for the Spring Festival. 设计意图:回顾课文，整体感知，把握课文内容。

Step 3 Practice Talk about the things they do for the Spring Festival and act. 设计意图：小组讨论自己春节都做些什么，掌握本课主要知识，把所学知识运用到口语交流中。锻炼了语言的综合汇总能力，激发了学生对祖国传统文化的

热爱以及民族自豪感。

Step4 Exercise 设计意图：Let’s do it. 通过本课练习，检测和巩固春节的习俗的句子。
