Unit 5 Seasons 一、Teaching aims：

1、Knowledge aim：

Students can understand、read and say words about seasons- “spring，summer，autumn，winter” 、words about weather-“warm，hot，cold，cool” and phrases about activities-“ go boating，

go swimming，go climbing，go skating，have picnics”. 2、

Ability aim: Improve their ability of reading and can talk about differences between four seasons.

Step one:Greeting and warm up 1、Free talk (How are you? What day is it today? How many days are there in a week? Can you draw a flower? Do you like music? 2、Let’s enjoy a song.(四季儿歌) 3、What’s the song about?

Today, we will learn about “seasons”

Step two: Presentation

（一）、Teach four seasons

1、Teach spring. T: Look at the picture, and what can you see?

What season is it? 2、Teach summer、autumn、winter the same way as we teach spring. （二）、Play a game—（Guess what season it is）

(三)、Teach the poem

T: So, there are seven days in a week, there are four seasons in a year.

1、Teach the poem about spring Show a picture of children’s flying kites and go boating. T asks: What can you see? Children fly kites and go boating in spring, let’s enjoy a poem about spring. (Listen to the tape, show the poem about spring) 2、

Teach the poem about summer. T：Children fly kites and go boating in spring，What about summer ? Let’s read it by yourself, find out what they do in summer. T：

In summer, they eat ice creams and go swimming ,Let’s read the poem of summer . 3、Show the poems about spring and summer together, find out the differences between them. Delete the differences, teach：
