本节课所学内容是外研版小学英语三年级起点六年级下册Module 3Unit1 The sun is shining.

本节课要注意的是练习和运用现在进行时的句子来描述图片，或照片中的情景。

学情分析

小学六年级的学生已经具备了一定的阅读和写作能力。在本课之前，学生已经在Unit1第一课时学习了课文情景。本课的重点是让学生在已掌握的现在进行时的基础上，熟练运用所学过的单词及句型描述图片或照片中的情景。

Let’s play a game. The teacher have chosen 5 photos. The teacher devided pupils into 5 groups. The pupils guess which photos the teacher have chosen. If they guessed successfully, they can get stars. Step2 Practice 1.The teacher asked some questions: e.g. T: How many photos are there? Ss: There are five.

T: What’s the weather like in this photo? Ss: It’s sunny/windy/cloudy/hot…

T: What are they doing? Ss: They are…

2. Talk about the photos in groups. 3. Describe the photos one by one. Step3 Presentation 1.Show a picture and talk about in groups. T: What can you see in the photo? Ss: I can see some birds, some ducks…

T: What are the birds doing? SS: They are singing. …

T: You can say like this: Sam and Daming are in the mountains. The sun is shining. The birds are singing in the tree…

2. Practice in groups. 3. Talk about the photo in front of the classroom. Step4 Homework Describe the photo on the paper.
