Ⅰ. Material analysis 本单元以美食节为主题展开，共包括三个话题，本节课为第三话题的第三课时。本节课主要活动为Section C -1a。主要是在前两个话题的基础上，继续学习对比事物的表达法，即副词的比较级和最高级。

本课1a通过Kangkang写给Craig的邮件，介绍美食节的进展情况，学习新内容——多音节副词的比较级和最高级。1b主要是让学生练习多音节副词的比较级和最高级的实际运用，2是小组讨论不同食物的正确吃法，3是调查组成员最喜欢的事物并将调查结果改写成调查报告在全班进行汇报。

Ⅱ. Teaching aims 1. Knowledge aims：

1）学习并掌握新词汇

job, worth, effort, successfully, steak, neatly （2）学习多音节副词的比较级和最高级。

（3）谈论不同食物的食用方法。
