教学目标 :

能灵活运用句型

：Who is tall/short ? The giraffe / dog is tall / short . 3.

能熟练唱出“Let’s sing”部分的儿歌。

培养小朋友爱护小动物的情感。

教学重点: 能听说认读 : giraffe, dog, tall, short 以及能灵活运用句型Who is tall/short ? The giraffe / dog is tall / short . 教学难点: 单词giraffe 的发音 教学方法: 情景教学法、游戏教学法、TPR 教学准备: 1.课程相关单词卡片。2.多媒体课件。

教学过程：

一、热身（Warm-up）

T:Good morning,boys and girls.How are you? S:Good morning,teacher.I’m fine ,thank you.

T:Today I’ll take you to a beautiful zoo.There are many animals in it.Do

you want to go? 二、呈现新课 (Presentation) 1、课件呈现各种动物的图片，用猜一猜的方式让学生复习以前所学过的小动物的英文名称。 2、课件展示长颈鹿的图片，带领学生认识单词giraffe。（方式：指名读、开火车读）

3、播放狗“汪汪”的声音，让孩子猜动物，引出单词dog并带读。（方式：指名读、开火车读）

3、出示长颈鹿和狗的身高对比图，直观的感受tall 和short两个单词的区别，并配合动作练习单词的发音。 4、let’sdo：The giraffe is tall.tall.tall.tall.

The dog is short.short.short.short. 5、利用ppt引出本课句型who is tall / short? 和 The…is tall /short,并运用各种对比图片反复操练。 三、

趣味操练 (Practice) 1、游戏：fly kites?(放风筝) 2、游戏：help the dog eat bones(帮小狗吃骨头)练习单词。

四、句型练习(Making sentences ) 1.听课文中对话并跟读。（Listen and repeat）

2.男女生分角色读.

(Role play) 3.两人一组，表演对话。（Work in pairs,act out the dialogue）

4.出示长颈鹿与猴子的身高对比图，让孩子两人一组编对话操练句型。

（Make a dialogue）

五、Let’s sing

孩子学唱Let’s sing部分儿歌。

六、情感拓展: 出示各种小动物图片，引导孩子们爱护各种小动物们。

The animals are our friends,so we must protect them. 七、家庭作业（Homework）

1.Listen to the tape and read it loudly. 2.sing the song to your

parents.
