Step1: Revision

Free Talk :Do you like P.E?Do you like sports?

1.Show some photos of the school sports meeting.

2.Look and speak out the sports names.

Step 2: presentation

1. T: There is a time that people play sports games together in the world, What do we call this activity? ------- (The Olympics)

2.Read the passages on Bb P82,get the Ss underline the new words then explain the difficult words.

3.Know something about the Olympic Games: 1.flame 2.torch 3.five circles and some sports events in the Olympic Games, and ask Ss :Which events are your favorites?

4. Learn more sports events words: diving, hurdling, skiing, ice hockey

5. Watch the Beijing Olympics 2008, China.

Introduce some Olympic Games places, and 福娃.

Step 3.Practices

1. Do the Ex on book P82-83.
