※学情分析

本课的教学对象是五年级学生,年龄为11岁左右。他们已有四年半的英语学习经历,四会单词量达到400个左右,会听说读写的句型约50个。学生在五年一期中进行了英语阅读训练,具有一定的阅读能力,喜欢阅读英语短文。

※教材分析

《新课程标准》二级教学总体目标要求学生能借助图片读懂简单

的故事或小短文。这就是要求学生通过能阅读文章达到理解的程度,

包括对故事主要内容的理解、主要人物的理解、故事情节的理解。本课例为广东人民出版社《Friends with English》五年级下册Unit6 Good Habits的内容。本单元主要语法点为一般现在时及八个动词词组的运用。在《Friends with English》前几册中学生曾学习过一般现在时的相关句型: Do you like…? What do you want to do? 与本课的一般现在时有一定的联系。

Unit6 Good Habits整个单元以好习惯与坏习惯为话题,建议划分为五个课时,本课例为该单元最后一个课时,在学完新授课、巩固练习后,最后完成More reading and writing部分。本课例内容围绕健康护牙习惯,作为新词句的一个阅读补充,引导学生联系自己的实际情况,分析和判断哪些是护牙的好习惯和不良习惯,帮助他们在今后的生活中科学护牙。

本单元在语法方面延续了第五单元的量词话题,呈现了量词once, twice…以及how often句型的用法。另外,本单元还复现了always, often, sometimes, usually等频率副词。教师可以结合学生用书五年级上册Unit 5 My Favorite Activities的相关语法知识,综合设计操练活动。

阅读短文:五年级下册Unit 6 P74 More reading and writing 主要句型分别是:①You should brush your teeth twice a day. ②Brush the inside of your teeth.

主要词汇分别是:healthy,inside, outside, biting part

1. 知识技能目标

a)能在教师的的引导下正确阅读文章,获取护牙好习惯的相关信息;

b)正确朗读文章;

c)根据关键词复述文章。

2. 学习策略目标

a)能限时阅读、快速浏览获取短文大意;

b)能通过默读获取文章相关信息;

c)能根据关键词复述短文主要内容。

3.情感文化意识目标

通过学习刷牙的步骤和日常护牙方法,引导学生培养良好的护牙习惯。

引导学生运用正确的阅读策略进行阅读,理解文章内容、获取相关信息。

本课例以根据句子提示猜出teeth导入, 一开始就吸引了学生的注意力,激发了学生的阅读兴趣,为顺利开展英语阅读教学、作了一个良好的开端。

在阅读中,教师设计了多样的阅读活动来激发学生的阅读兴趣和

培养其阅读能力。采用了限时阅读的方法，引导学生快速选择文章主题；以Read, match and order的任务引导学生理清上下大意；结合图片，指导学生理解短文中的主要词汇；阅读文章，完成相关问题；同桌讨论并操练、复述短文等等。

在阅读后提供了丰富的课外阅读材料和视频，为学生提供大量的

接触英语语料的机会，对增强他们的语感、丰富他们的生活知识、了解更多的护牙方法，并进而提高他们的英语阅读能力。本课遵循以学生为中心，以兴趣为支点的新课标教学理念，把阅读教学、交流合作、师生间的评价融为一体，达到语言、功能、情感、任务和评价有机结合。

1. A guessing game. Have students look and guess .

T: Let’s play a guessing game. They are

part of your body. They are white. They are in your mouth. What are

they?

S: They are teeth.

2. Teaching the new word “healthy”.

T: Look at these teeth. They are “good teeth”.

We can also say “healthy teeth”.

S: Healthy teeth.

T: Look at this picture. Are these healthy teeth?

S: No.

T: They are bad teeth. Do you want healthy

teeth?

S: Yes, we do.

T: How can we have healthy teeth?

StepⅡ While-reading

1. First reading.

Have students read the passage

quickly and grasp the main idea of

the passage.

2. Second reading.

(1)Have students read the passage ，then match

the pictures with the sentences. Teach the new

words outside, inside & biting part during

about steps of brushing teeth.

3. The third reading.

(1)Read and write. Have students read the

passage and answer the questions of page 75.

(2) Finish exercise 4 of page 75.

本课作为五年级下册unit 6 的最后一个部分，是一个具体的生活好习惯---如何护牙。在教学中，教师分别设计了读前、读中、读后三个阶段的任务。读前用猜词的方式激活学生有关牙齿的知识；读中安排了三次阅读：速读获取文章大意、再读排序并学新词、细读完成答题，最后让学生讨论哪些是护牙好习惯和坏习惯；读后让学生朗读课文（关注重读、连读、语音语调等），并根据板书提示复述短文，最后再进行拓展：让学生运用所学护牙知识给Gogo提出建议，并以写信的方式反馈给Gogo（写信是本册教材中的写作重点内容）。整节课层次清晰、阅读任务设计得当，让学生在阅读过程中获取了相关知识、掌握了阅读方法。
