1.教学内容

1) Be able to listen, read，say and recognize the time. 2) Be able to listen, read，say and recognize the sentences “What time is it? It’s …o’clock. Is it … o’clock.? Yes, it is. No, it isn’ t. ”

3) Let Ss can recognize the time and more knowledge about this part of the Culture. 2.教学目标

1) Be able to discover and find out the differences of the time, including the culture of Chinese and Western 2) Be able to understand and use what they have learned to communicate, talk and write by teamwork, and take part in the activities in class. 3.教学重点和难点

教学重点: 1) Be able to listen, speak, read and recognize the words of the time , also Ss can use the sentences to communicate with each other. 2) Be able to describe the time and improve their communication abilities.

教学难点: 1) Reading and using comprehensive language. 2) Know more knowledge about the Culture of the time. 4.教学策略（教学方法、辅助手段等）

1) Read a passage about timetable, and then make a timetable in groups and improve their abilities. 2) Compare with the time in different countries and then get some information. 5.教学过程（说明意图及依据）

Step 1 Warming up. 1) Greetings. 2) Free talk.

Hello, I am Miss. Zhou. What’s your name? Nice to meet you! How are you? I’m fine, thanks. / I’m OK. / I’m good.

3) Tell the Ss we’ll have a competition between the boys and the girls. 【Purpose:Getting ready for the new presentation, it’s important to lead the Ss be interested in learning English at the beginning.】

Step 2

Lead in. This is my friend Gogo. Today ,he talks to me in wechat. He says, I don’t know the time. Can you help Gogo? Let’s pass three tasks. Task1: Look and say. (Students should speak the time loudly according to the clock.) Task2: Sing a song——What time? What time? What time is it? Task3: Guessing game. (Ss guess the time by using the sentences: Is it eleven o’clock? Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.)

【Purpose: To help the Ss review the new words and the sentences.Let them understand today’s assessment and get some information of the time.】

Step 3

Presentation. Wa, Gogo is very happy. Let’s go to the shop.

Summary

Look, we know Gogo’s watch is broken, so he need to exchange a new watch. Step 4

Extension. 1.

Ss need to have match. Match the time with the pictures. 【Purpose: Be able to encourage the Ss to learn more knowledge from the story.】

Step 5 Production. Ss can understand the numbers and the time. Ss can improve their reading ability. Ss can share the time and value the time.

Homework. 1、Design a timetable for yourself and write down the time. 2、Role play the story after school.
