开心学英语三年级下册第四单元第一课时

Aims: to learn the patterns “What is this?”“What are these?”; the words “banana ,pear, orange ,cherry, strawberry, peach, grape and watermelon”

Difficult poin t: 名词的复数形式

Aids: courseware and cards

Academic analysis:学生在第一册中已学过名词的单数形式,已学过“What is this?”,本课就是在些基础上学习“What are these?”“They are ……”。再拓展到“Are these peaches?”, “Yes, they are. (No, they aren’t.)”。本课通过歌曲、图片、游戏、猜一猜、展示来让学生认读和理解新的英语单词,掌握新的句型,巩固并灵活地运用。培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

Step1 Greetings

1.Chant : What’s that?

2. Free talk: talk about yourself

3. Review

Ask and answer

Are you/ they……?Is he /she ……?What color is /are ……? Is that a red …? What do you like?

Step2Presentation.

T: I like fruits. (Teach: fruit) Let’s begin our new lesson: Unit 4 Fruit

Look, there are many fruit.(show out the picture)There are some bananas ,pears, oranges…..What fruit do you like?

a.Learn new words and sentences.

Show a picture of banana

Ask “ What is this?”S: It’s a banana.

Show a picture of some bananas

Ask “What are these? ”S:They’re bananas.

Use the way to teach the new words: banana ,pear, orange ,cherry(cherries), strawberry(strawberries), peach(peaches), grape and watermelon

b.Play a game : Simon says
