一、教材分析：

在听说读写中引导学生掌握情态动词表示能力、允许或向人提出警告/劝诫的用法。

二、教学对象分析：

学生对于情态动词的用法其实并不陌生，在小学已经接触过，只是没有进行专项的归纳性学习。在本单元，教师可以系统地帮助学生温故而知新，引导学生在一定的语境中熟练运用情态动词。 三、教学目标：

1. 语言知识：

1）学习情态动词：can and cannot; may and may not; must and mustn’t. 2）practice -based，启发学生, 归纳语言知识，开展各层次、强化性和综合性练习，多种技能结合训练, 以练为主。

2.语言技能：使用情态动词来表达家庭用电安全。

3. 情感态度：知道如何在家中安全使用电器设备，培养家庭主人翁意识。

四、教学重点：学习三组情态动词的运用和表达。

五、教学难点：运用情态动词表达在家中需要遵守的规章。

六、学习策略：培养学生探究学习、合作学习、自主学习的能力

七、教学手段：适时、合理地使用计算机多媒体，增大课堂的容量，更好地辅助课堂教学，提高课堂教学的有效性。

八、教学环节设计: Step1.Grammar Learning ---Modal verbs

1)

Presentation---can and cannot a. Show some sentences on the screen and let the class read them together. We can use electricity to do many things. We cannot/ can’t see electricity. Can you think of an example? Yes, I can./ No, I cannot/can’t b. Conclude the usage: We use the modal verbs can and cannot (can’t) to say we are able or unable to do something.

※can 的意思是“能”;“会”. 表示能力, 相当于be able to.

当can 解释

“可以”, 表示许可时, 相当于may. 它的否定形式是can’t 或

can not, 而

can’t be 指不可能. 表示猜测,常用于否定句和疑问句中。

Could 比

can语气更委婉、客气, 但它表示语气时并不代表过去时. 1)

Lo can speak ten languages, but he can not speak Japanese. 2) Lucy can’t be late for class.

Yes, you may/can.

No, you may not/can't. You may/can turn on the TV. You may not/cannot play in the kitchen.

b. Conclude the usage: We use may and may not to ask for and give permission.

We also use can and can not for the same purpose. May 的意思是“可以;可能;或许”, 表示请求、允许;它的

否定形式是may not, 意思为“可以不”. may be 指可能, 而maybe 虽然也是可能的意思,却是副词.如: 1）

must not, 意为“不可以\禁止”

Must be 的意思是“准是,一定是”，

表示肯定的猜测

must 与have to 意思相近,但是must 表示说话人的主观看法,

have to 表示外界客观愿望.即“不得不”。

用must 提问征询对方的意见时，肯定回答must; 否定回答用
