Step 1：1..Greetings

2. Warm-up: Cats say.

3. Review the animals and colours. Step 2: Lead in: Spotlight to show a picture. Step 3: Presentation 1. Use spotlight to find cat,monkey and tiger. Say the colors with T. T: Let’s find another cat. Is it yellow? What colour is it?

Follow me, purple.So does pink and orange.

2. “Tiger coming” game to review the 3 colours.

T: Read the words together. Bend down when you see the tiger. 3. Show the whole picture. Review the words of blue, yellow, red,

green and write them on the board.

T: Look. What’s this? What colour is it?

4. Students take out balls from a bag and ask other students

“What colour is it?” to review 8 colours.

5. Teacher and students draw 7 lines to make a picture together .

T: Now I will draw something. First, I need red to draw a line.

Who can help me to find red?

So does yellow, pink and green. Lead students say “ Red and

yellow and pink and green.”

T: Who can help me to draw the purple line?

So does orange and blue. Lead students to say “ Purple and

orange and blue.”

6. Ask students what it is. Lead them to say rainbow with teacher.

7. 6 students work in groups to draw a rainbow. And say the colour of the rainbow with group members using sentence “ Red and...and...”

T: Now let’s draw a rainbow with your group members. Each one

can only draw once. Let’s start from your group leader. If you finish please put up your hands.

8. Sing the song with teacher and with video. Step 4 Practice

Dice: 6 groups have a competition to win a picture of colors to name their group. Start the dice. When it stops. The according groups

have to sing the song if their colors appears on the dice. Step 5 Homework

1. Sing the song to parents.

2. See the cartoon ‘The rainbow’ of Peppa Pig.
