3. 能够区分一些草原动物、丛林动物并能够用本课句型进行表达。

步骤1 ：Warming up

1.Greeting 2.Duty talk: Q: What’s the weather like today? Q: What day is it today?

3. Lead-in: Review the words and ask Ss to spell. monkey\worm\insect\grass\home -------home T: Everyone has home. Xi’an city is our home. Shaanxi Normal University DaXing New District Primary School is our home. But can you tell me where is the home to sharks and whales?

设计意图：从拼单词home引入万物皆有家，从而引入主要句型。

步骤2：Presentation

(1) Where is the home to lions and giraffes? -----grassland a. how to read. b. how to spell. (2) Who lives in the grassland? Lions and giraffes live in the grassland. (zebras\antelopes\horses\sheep\yak…) 设计意图:帮助学生了解更多的草原动物，扩大学生的词汇量，给学生练习本课文本提供更多素材。

T: So the grassland is home to lions and giraffes. Let’s take care of the grassland. (3)Show some pieces of a picture and GUESS what is the new home. -----jungle

a. how to read. b. how to spell. c. What is the difference between forest and jungle. 设计意图：帮助学生了解forest和jungle的区别，这两个单词容易混淆。

步骤3：Practice and production

（1）Listen and follow the directions. After listening, students should finish the T\F exercises. 设计意图：通过听文本，再次熟悉本课重点句型，并且加深对森林与丛林区别的印象。

（2）Talk about how to take care of the Earth.

设计意图：通过学生自由讨论如何保护地球，一来可以让学生练习所学句型，增加学生本节课的输出。二来可以达成本课的情感目标，让学生自己动脑想一想，保护地球、保护生态环境的重要性的方法。

Homework: 1. Recite，copy and translate the text, remember the key words. 2. Talk about more ways to take care of our Earth.
