Unit One Lesson Six Save the Earth 一,指导思想:

以素质教育为根本宗旨,以培养创新精神和实践能力为重点,充分遵循四个“有利于”思想,即:有利于发挥学生的潜能,有利于提高学生的全面素质,有利于提高学生的自学能力,有利于培养学生的创造性思维和创造能力。

二,学生分析:

四年级普班各方面英语能力相对双语班较弱,但是四年级的大部分学生对英语有着比较浓厚的学习兴趣,但也有少数学生由于遇到困难,学习兴趣会随之减弱。尤其从这学期开始,对学生又提出了新的要求:培养听、说、读、写的技能。所以教师应该面向全体学生,以学生的发展为宗旨,始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方法,培养学生良好的学习习惯。

三,教材分析:

清华大学出版社<<小学英语>>四年级下册第一单元,本单元主要问题是:Who lives ...? 在不同的课文中,这个句子的回答都使用了A bird and a monkey live .... The tree is home to a bird and a monkey.即用单数表示“一类”的语法现象。在教学中,有些老师觉得不好解释,学生读起来也有困难,而且句子又长。老师可以按照原来的句子教授,也可以把它们修改后教授。本单元希望孩子们有进一步学习英语的愿望并乐于积极参与英语课堂的学习活动。

四,教学难点:

1,词汇

1)掌握单词和短语4个:air, plant, Earth, on the Earth

2)认读单词和短语3个:breathe, important, all of us 3)重现单词4个:people, animal, wolf, mouse 2, 句型

1)掌握句型一个:Who lives on the Earth? 2)认读理解句型3个:Who breathes air?

Air is important to all of us.

The Earth is home to all of us. 3, 理解和朗读课文,并完成课后练习;

4,理解本单元主题:保护我们共同的家园-地球;

五,教学重点: 1,进一步熟悉和掌握本单元的主要句型,结合生活实际进行运用;

2,单词breathe, Earth读音有些困难。学生都可能读不好all of us的连读。

六,教学准备: 主课本、课件PPT、词条、练习(纸质)、被污染地球(纸)

Students answer:

3,Review the words: ocean/river/lake/sky/clouds/forest/jungle... They are blue, white and green. Teacher asks: “What is blue?”

Teacher says: “You are so great. Bring out color pens.

There are some sentences on the back.

Try to read them. Then draw and color.

教师打开每个色板(PPT),请一位口语好的同学试读,然后教师带读:

Blue: I’m round. People, animals and plants live on me. White: The blue part is ocean. The white part is clouds.

The green part is land. Green: I’m home to all of us. There are many countries and cities. 注:以上句子在前五课已教授过,第六课再次出现,所以此环节主要是新授单词Earth,并复习句子;

Teacher asks: “What’s this? And show me your pictures.”

Students answer:

This is the Earth. Teacher says: “You are great. Show me your pens and follow me.”

学生跟教师书写;

2,Talk about pollution: Teacher asks: “Do you think the Earth is beautiful and clean?”

学生观看老师出示的图片,并跟读句子:

There is air pollution. People, animals and plants need air. Air is important to all of us. Let’s keep the air clean. -Teacher says: “Let’s check. Fill in the blacks.”

教师出示图片,学生根据教师给的图和句型口头造句:

There is ____ pollution. People, animals and plants need ____. ____ is important to all of us. Let’s keep the ___ clean.

4,Practices:

Teacher says: “You are so good. I will show you some pollution pictures and fill in the blanks.Watching carefully ‘How many pollution can you see?’”

教师出示有关污染的图片,图片旁并配有如何救地球的短语,学生观察并完成填空练习:

Students answers:

学生根据上一环节老师给的图片并自己发挥想象回答问题,如:

Don’t cut down trees. Plant trees. 然后把自己画的地球贴在老师事先准备的污染的地球上,让我们的地球变回原来的干净和漂亮;

After Class: 在课前,我阅读关于地球和环境的相关资料,让课堂气氛更充实和活跃,否则就是单一的说教了。

其实地球对于学生来说既熟悉又抽象,对于地球的认识过程是缓慢的,循序渐进的,所以我并没有在教学内容上安排太多内容,而不论在教学设计上还是教学内容上都以生活实际为出发点,因此“环境”就成为我这节课讨论的主题。

本节课教学的流程还是比较顺利。由Colors作为引出,最后让我们想办法Save the Earth,显得结构完成,同时又有一定的寓意,引发学生的思考。

教学中,在新授句型方面考虑到孩子们水平较弱,所以首先采用了教师指导带读新句型,接着让孩子们试着填空,最终自己造句,虽然重复,但是培养了学生自主学习的能力。我也时刻关注适时的适当引导和相关内容渗透。本文虽然不长,但是知识量较大。

关于环保的渗透,我们一开始在教学设计中有专门一个环节“涂色”让学生认识到健康的地球是什么颜色,而结束环节,进行保护地球的教育。

课文的每一部分,每一句话都在说为什么要保护地球,怎样保护。完全没有必要再花费时间特意挖掘或提炼。通过深入本文,联系生活实际,让学生明白人类的生存“只有一个地球”这样一个事实,懂得要珍惜资源,保护地球的生态环境的重要性。

本节课,我运用电子白板多样的方式展现出大量的信息内容,丰富了学生的情感,更加有效地优化了课堂,有效地帮助学生理解并突破教学重难点,激发了学生的学习兴趣,使学生充分体验到收获的快乐。

总体上下来,教学效果还是不错的。不足之处是,时间上有点紧张,所以感觉放不开,比较拘谨。
