1.Through listening, reading, role play, making dialogues students can use the key sentence。
2.Through learning the whole text, the students can finish part five and six. 3.Understand part four “Read, think and write”, then answer the question. 情感目标:
Learn to know food is limited in the world. Many children in Africa have no enough food to eat. But a lot of people in other countries throw much food. So we should let the students
treasure food. 教学重点:

1.巧妙导入:T: Hello everyone. I’m hungry. The teacher may ask the students “Can I have some…?”
and try to guide the
students answer “Yes, please.”Then let the students practice the sentence pattern with partners. 2.引出主题:T: Let’s look at some words “toy, joy, boy.”
3.解决难点:
(1)Guide the students to sum up the pronunciation of oy. (2)The teacher can show the phonetic symbol/ɔɪ/, and coach the students to pronounce it one by one. (3)Let the students finish the exercise(T or F) join joy ( ) toy boy ( ) dark smart ( ) short house ( ) (4)Let the students read the sentences of part four. (5)Let the students read the dialogue. (6)Ask the students to answer the questions. (7)Let the students retell the dialogue (8)Ask the students to finish the part five and six by themselves. 4.听音感知:Listen to the tape and try to retell what you have heard. 5.默读初始:Read silently and fill in the blanks in groups. 6.朗读探知:Read loudly and answer the questions. 7.听音跟读:Listen and try to read after the tape. 8.角色朗读:小组读、男女读、开火车读、领读、师生对读、角色读。
9.留白处理:留白读,去掉文中关键词让学生填空读。
10.短文示范:
(1)Teacher shows her own composition. (2)Ask one of the students to read out the passage. 11.学生仿写:Students can imitate it and try to write it down. 12.课堂小结:Today we learn the text and the words: hamburger, bread, sandwich, hot dog. 13.布置作业:Ask the students to recite the lesson after class, or they can read the text to their parents. 14.情感升华:After learning the text, we should treasure food. 板书设计:
