一．Analysis of the teaching materials: The content of this lesson is a story named”Robin and the ant”,which is based on Unit 6 Part B Read and write of PEP Book7. It talks about a story that the ant and Robin are nice to each other. The main purpose of this lesson is to lead the students to understand the whole story and cultivate the habit of helping others. It can also arouse students’ interests of learning English. 二、Analysis of the students: The students from Grade 6 have been learned English for three years.They have a certain ability to read. It’s not difficult for them to understand the story because they have some knowledge and strategies. They are very active and want to present themselves. And they are full of imagination. But due to the limit of their knowledge level, some of them can’t express their opinions in English freely. 三、Teaching objectives: Linguistic competence Students are able to talk about the main idea freely.
