教学目标

1.学生能够理解文本大意并运用正确的语音语调,有感情地朗读故事;

2.学生能够从阅读中获取的信息完成有意义的复述活动;

3.学生能够运用创编新的与心情有关的小故事,在故事中愿意彼此关心与帮助。

学情分析

小学六年级的学生活泼好动,大部分学生乐于用英语交谈,而且他们已经有了一定的英语基础,能够较为清晰地表达自己的想法。六年级的学生在学生过程中不仅仅停留于知识的表面层次上,而是会更加深层地对所学内容进行思考。本课是一节故事教学,容易引起学生的学习兴趣,但是如何在有趣的基础之上又可以引发学生对故事主题的思考,才是本课主要探究的内容。

重点难点

1.理解文本大意并完成相关习题。

2 能从阅读中获取的信息朗读并复述故事。

【教学难点】

能够运用已学知识创编新的故事。

教学活动

【导入】Warm-up&Review

1.Greeting.

2.Draw your own feelings.

T: Now draw your feelings on the paper. You have 20 seconds. Who can show us your paper ?

设计意图:通过打招呼轻松引出本单元的课题:How do you feel? 学生在纸上画出自己的心情,并与老师交流自己今天的心情,对自己以及伙伴的状态有一个大概的了解。

【导入】Presentation

1.Guess the story.

T: Boys and girls, as we know, people has feelings. Does animals has feelings?

So today we are going to learn a story about the ~(ant).

Look at the picture.There is a story between Robin and the ant. What’s the story?Can you guess?

And Today Let’s learn the “Robin and the ant”.(板书课题)

设计意图:

运用动物表情引出故事主人公,学生自己猜测Robin和ant的故事,对故事产生兴趣。

2.Presentation.

1) Watch the video and answer a question:

What’s the story about?

2) Listen and answer:

(1)What is Robin going to do?

I have an other question:What’s the weather like?

Sunny morning? Or afternoon? (出示太阳图片)

(出示Robin与草坪的图片) 接着问:when he hears“”?

(出示“wait”图片) 接着问:who says that? (出示蚂蚁图片)

(2)How does the ant feel?

拓展性问题:

Now look! The ant is very afraid.Maybe he is going to die. If you were the ant, what will you do?I think all of you are very clever.Now listen what does the ant say? (出示句子图片)

How about Robin? What does Robin say? (出示句子图片)

What do you think of Robin? Is he helpful or bad?

①How does the ant feel now?

②If Robin sit on the little ant, what will the other ants feel?

作为拓展性问题,根据学生的情况决定是否提问。

教师重点教“stuck”和“mud”的读法。

Because he really wants to get out of the mud. But no one helps him.

设计意图:

首先,采用任务型教学,通过设置问题,让学生带着问题观看整个故事,并撷取重要信息。

其次,通过听、读、小组读以及教师设计的问题层层深入学习故事。通过对故事两部分的整体输入,逐步了解故事大意以及解决学习过程中的重难点。

设计意图:在对文本有了完整的认识后,学生能够在完成课本练习的基础上,用用自己的话复述故事。

此环节帮助学生梳理故事结构,检测目标2的完成情况。

【作业】Homework

1.Listen to the tape, read the story.

2. Retell the story to your parents.

3. Try to write down your new story.

设计意图:

1.检测学习结果。

2.不同层次的学生都能体会到成功的
