一、学情分析

四年级学生已经适应了小学的英语学习生活，大多数学生学习兴趣浓厚，学习习惯较好。他们求知欲强，善于模仿，喜欢听故事、唱儿歌、做游戏、肢体表演等活动形式。通过三年多的英语学习，已经具备了基本的听说能力，能进行材料的朗读与简短的对话与交流，也能进行简单的书面训练。

在1AM4U1和3AM4U2中，学生们已经学习过一些常见的农场动物，如：chick, duck, cow, pig, dog, cat等（含单复数）；学习过不少描述动物的形容词（如：strong, tall, yellow, brown, white, fat等）与动词（如：swim, run, jump, fly等）；也学习过to be, to have, can 等基础句型以及What do you like? I like... Do you like …? Yes, I do./ No, I don’t. 等表示喜好的句子，这些都是学习本单元内容的基础。

二、单元分析

（1）单元教学任务：

通过本单元的学习，学生能了解更多的、可爱的动物名称，如：parrot, tortoise等，注意单复数；能运用一般现在时态第三人称单数的特殊疑问句What does…(do)? ...(does)… 来问答动物的生活习性与食性特点，包括合理运用bone, fish, cat food, dog food等内容（关注可数名词与不可数名词）来描述小动物们的食性喜好，进一步了解动物的不同特点，感受动物的可爱，进一步唤起热爱小动物、保护小动物的情感。此外，学习字母或字母组合-oe, -oa ,-o在单词中的发音，举一反三，尝试语音儿歌。

1、能准确理解、朗读本单元的核心单词，如：bone, fish, cat food, dog food, parrot, tortoise等，注意

区分可数名词和不可数名词，注意名词的单复数；同时，能理解与运用shake, run away, climb onto, jump

off等动作来描述动物的活动。

2、能学习和运用一般现在时态第三人称单数的特殊疑问句以及问答，如：What does…(do)? ... (does)…等。

3、能运用一般现在时态的各种人称来描述客观事实。如：A cat eats fish. Dogs eat bones. I like cats. They like fish.等。

4、能在动物主题故事的朗读与演绎中进一步体会动物的特点、进一步感受动物朋友之间的友谊以及不同的习性与自然现象。

5、能初步了解字母或字母组合-oe, -oa ,-o在单词中的读音，有感情地朗读语音儿歌。

教学目标：

2、在语境中，通过图景与语段理解、朗读故事内容，体会猫和老鼠的一系列情感变化，有感情地朗读故事、体验角色。

3、通过故事学习，进一步感受动物的不同特点、不同的习性与自然现象，体会故事阅读所带来的乐趣。
