一、单元内容整体分析：

本单元的话题是职业表达，主要功能是能简单介绍人物职业。主要语言结构为：What does your father / mother do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work? 并围绕主题引出一系列词汇：singer，actor，actress，engineer，policeman，cleaner，accountant等。我们在四年级上册就接触过表职业的单词，如：farmer，doctor，driver等，在复习过程中要充分利用旧语言为新知识的教学服务。

二、本单元教学目标：

1、知识目标：

1）能够掌握A、B两部分Let's learn，Let's talk中的四会单词singer，writer，actor，actress，artist，engineer，accountant，policeman，salesperson，cleaner，where，work，TV reporter和四会句子What does your father / mother do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work? 。

2）能够听、说、认读A、B部分Let's talk，Let's read中的白体句子。

2、能力目标：

1）能够简单介绍人物职业，如He's / She's a / an ...

2）能够运用句型“What does your father / mother do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work? ”等询问他人的工作情况，并给出相应回答。

3）能够按要求较好完成Group work等活动。

3、情感目标：

1）情感态度：热爱生活、尊重他人劳动。

2) 学习策略：能积极与他人合作，运用所学英语进行交流，共同完成学习任务。

三、本单元教学重、难点：

重点：使学生掌握一些职业的英语表达并就此展开相关讨论。本单元共有27个单词，其中有13个四会单词,13个两会单词和一个三会单词show。

重点句型是“What does your father / mother / ... do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work? ”。

难点：让学生在任务活动中熟练运用不同句型进行交流。

PPT 、recorder及教学过程中所需要的字母卡片、

学生的练习题。

五、Teaching Procedures

Step 1:Warm – up

Let's chant

I like teaching .

I am a teacher .

You like writing . You are a writer .

She likes singing. She’s a singer .

He likes acting .

He’s an actor .

We like studying. We are students. （设计意图：通过简单、朗朗上口的chant使学生轻松愉快的进入课堂，同时又复习了本节课要用到的词汇）

Step 2: Review the words 1、Can you guess?

利用课件出示student, nurse, TV reporter, policeman的简笔画，让学生猜猜是什么职业。

2、Read and say

通过对职业的描述，让学生说出该职业的名称。

3、看图片说职业What does he /she do?

课件出示图Zhao Wei (an actress), Zhou Xingchi( an actor), Xu Beihong(an artist), an engineer and an accountant的图片让学生用He/She is a/an …

谈论他们的职业。

（设计意图：用简笔画、图片、句子等形式，吸引学生们的注意力，调动学生的积极性，复习学过的11种的职业。考虑到学生对徐悲鸿的长相不一定熟悉所以加上徐悲鸿的骏马图进行提示。）

4、Game根据首字母猜单词

然后课件出示刘欢，赵薇，李勇他们的相关信息，让学生就这几位明星进行问答。

（设计意图：这一环节是由机械操练过渡到意义操练。这一环节的设计贴近生活实际，创造了一个开放的语言交际环境，并能充分发挥学生的主体性，让学生动起来，对所学的新语言也能进行充分的练习，让学生感受到学以致用的乐趣。）

Step 4: Extension

1 听录音猜明星

（设计意图：此活动目的是训练学生的听力以及捕捉信息的能力。）

2 阅读短文判断正误

让学生先采用小组交流的形式，这样可以发挥学生学习的主动性，让学习较好的学生帮助有困难的学生，然后让学生动笔写一写，最后利用投影展示几位同学的作文并进行批改。
