本节课激发学生的阅读兴趣，提升阅读技巧，从阅读材料中快而准地获取不同国家的New Year’s Day 相关信息，并根据所获得的信息与同伴交流，进一步培养学生初步写作的能力。
教学重点：掌握一定的阅读技巧和基本的写作策略。
教学难点：培养阅读文本，解决问题的能力。
Step1: Warming up
以Free talk 形式，引出今天所学的三个国家。
Step2: Pre-reading
Show the pictures of some festivals. Lead out the Spring Festival. Then finish the table.
1. When’s the Spring Festival?
2. Explain “change” with the calendar.
3. When’s the Spring Festival this year?
4. What do people usually do in Spring Festival?
Step3: While-reading
Open the books P36 1.
Watch the video and listen to the text1,text3,finish the table.(分组讨论完成) 2.
