本节课激发学生的阅读兴趣，提升阅读技巧，从阅读材料中快而准地获取不同国家的New Year’s Day 相关信息，并根据所获得的信息与同伴交流，进一步培养学生初步写作的能力。

教学重点：掌握一定的阅读技巧和基本的写作策略。

教学难点：培养阅读文本，解决问题的能力。
