一、教材及教学内容分析

本课时是六年级下册Module 8 的第一课时，主要呈现和操练本模块的核心功能语言，属于阅读课型。是Unit2 的基础，为Unit 2 的语篇学习扫除词句障碍。教材内容板块分为四部分，一为导入部分Look, listen and say, 该部分的Where’s my bag? I put it on your bed. Why can’t I see it? 呈现了核心词where, why, put，on, under，让学生集中识读单词put, under, on, where, why, 对新课的学习有初步的认知。二是Listen and read,是本单元的新授部分，呈现了过去式句型，通过这些句型的学习，学生学习如何叙述过去的事情，能灵活运用过去式词句。三是Listen and say,此部分是通过两幅图片训练核心句型：Why do you have cups on your heads? Why are you laughing? 四是practise, 也是语言操练活动，主要操练句型Why are you laughing? Because …每部分都围绕核心句型展开，很显然第一部分通过疑问句设置情境，为新知做好铺垫，第二部分通过句型学习重点语言知识，第三部分机械操练核心句型，第四部分为简单的任务操练，通过操练使学生能基本运用本课的语言知识。四部分紧紧围绕本课语言重点，层层巩固所学的语言知识并让学生学会运用所学的主要句型和词组。

本课时教学设计的主要目的是让学生理解和运用过去式句型，重点学习

Why are you…? Because …的功能意义，掌握如何询问原因的句式。

、学情分析

授课对象是六年级学生，本班学生基础较弱，积极性较低，大部分学生不太乐于参与教学活动和表现自己。部分学生对英语学习较感兴趣，但没有形成良好的学习习惯。只有少部分学生能主动进行预习，英语的学习主要依靠课堂学习。因此教师必须创设生动形象的语言环境，调动学生的积极性，通过设计丰富有趣的活动让学生理解及掌握新的功能句型和新词，并学会运用本课的核心句型。

三、教学目标：

1.知识目标: 能通过学习掌握句型及过去式词组：Why do you …? Why are you…? Because I…, came into, had cups on , told … the story,planned to …, asked… to…, put …on…；

能通过听说读掌握单词:came, asked, told, planned, asked, brought, laughed, put, said, opened,

2.技能目标: 能熟练运用本课所学的过去式句型，在学习的过程中提高语言运用能力。

3.方法与情感目标: 培养学生开口说英语,认真听课的好习惯, 积极参与到活动中，学会合作，能与小组成员共同完成任务。通过本课的学习学会热爱自己的学校，养成良好的作息习惯。

七、教学过程（40mins）

Step 1: Warming-up（2mins）

1. Greetings. T: Good morning, boys and girls. It’s a sunny day. Is it beautiful? Oh , where’s my English book? Is it in my bag? Is it on the desk? Why can’t I see it? 2. Sing a song “Why, why, why…?”

Step2: Pre-reading（3mins）

1.

show two pictures: caps and cups. T: Please look at these pictures: what are they? Can you say? They are caps , cups. Can you speak clearly? 2.

Look at three pictures of the text. T: Please look and try to talk about the pictures.

(目的:承接上一环节活动方式，通过观看caps 和cups图片，让学生对两个词有所了解，然后观看图片了解课文大意。)

Step 3: While-reading（15mins）

Watch the video, then answer the questions: 1)

(目的:承接上一环节活动方式，第一遍观看动画回答问题，了解课文大意，第二遍观看，然后判断对错，详细了解课文，第三遍阅读然后填空，加强对课文的理解，接着跟读课文，小组朗读课文，在朗读的过程中巩固语言知识。)

Step 4: Post-reading(15mins) Look at the pictures and retell the story. You can say: “It’s easy to make mistakes with English.” Then try to used the correct past tense . （目的：在post-reading 环节让学生复述课文，加强对过去式动词的理解和运用。）

Step5:Summary（3mins）

Let the students talk about the past tense and try to use it correctly. Step 6: Homework.(2mins) 1.

Read the text ,try to pay more attention to the past tese. 2.

Use the past tense to talk about some past things.
