C Story time

一、教学目标:

1.知识目标:通过阅读故事,复习与巩固本单元所学重点句型: Is that the…?

Yes, it is. /No, it` s not. This is....

并能在实际情景中运用重点句型来进行问答对话,询问场所位置。

2.能力目标:

(1)学生能在语言、图片的帮助下理解故事内容,并能朗读故事。

(2)学生能与同学合作,一起表演故事情节。

(3)能使用所学句型进行口语交际,并能恰当运用故事里的情景语言。

3.情感目标:

(1)感受学校的漂亮与温馨,培养学生对热爱学校的情感。

(2)培养学生团结互助的合作精神与小组默契。

二、教学重难点:

1.重点:

学生能在语言、图片的帮助下读懂,理解故事,并运用正确的语音语调朗读故事。

2.难点:学生能表演故事并在实际情景中正确使用所学语言。

三、教学准备:

本节故事的录音与视频、课室等场所的图片、词卡、Monkey、Hippo、Rabbit、Zip,Zoom的头饰。

四、教学过程:

Step1 Preparation

Hello,boys and girls!Today we are going to read a funny story, and there are four groups ,If you do a good job, you can get one star for your group. After class ,which group gets the most stars, then each group member can receive the prizes. Are you ready? Let’s go !

1.播放歌曲《My school》

1)学生和老师一起拍手打节奏,跟唱歌曲。

2)Answer the question:What is the song about?

(设计意图:通过歌唱歌曲活跃课堂气氛,导入话题。)

2.Review

The song is about school,there are many rooms in the school John` s school has many rooms, What are they? Look and say ! 1)快闪游戏,复习课室等场所的单词与相关句子。

(设计意图:用快闪游戏复习学过的学校课室,热烈了课堂气氛,是学生兴趣高涨,并为学习新知做好铺垫。)

2)Can you say? 呈现课本B Let’s learn ,John与Wu Yifan对话介绍学校的图片,要求学生做出对话。

Talk about John` s school like this:

Is that the…? Yes, it is. /No,it is n’t.

(设计意图:通过让学生谈论图中的学校与课室,复习句型并为学习新知做好铺垫。)

Step2 Presentation

1.看故事动画,让学生感知文本。

PPT呈现课故事视频,在播放前提出以下问题,并要求看完视频后做出回答:

A .Who are they?

B . Where are they?

They are in the hippo’s ___________.

(设计意图:通过看故事动画,让学生从整体上感知文本并回答问题Where are they? 对文本内容有整体印象与理解故事大意。)

2.(1)Read picture2,3,4,5 and find:

Where do they visit in Hippo `s school?

(设计意图:让学生读图2-5的内容圈出所参观的课室,培养学生阅读时抓重点的能力。)

(2) Watch picture2, 3, 4, 5and say:

Where do they visit in Hippo’s school?

再次看视频,选择出小动物们参观的课室。

(设计意图:通过让学生看故事视频,找出并说出小动物们参观的教室,让学生抓住故事的主线索——小动物们共同参观了五个课室,

分别是哪里。)

B Library, gym, music room, lunch room, teacher `s office 2. Watch and answer:

看故事第四幅图的视频并回答问题:

Is that the lunch room?

Yes or no?

让学生通过看视频,听出Is that the lunch room?

PPT呈现lunch room的图片,提出It’s time for lunch, I am hungry,引出lunch和hungry后,请学生拼读lunch,运用图片帮助学生理解意思。教读并操练句型Is that the lunch room?(开小火车操练句型。)

3. Read picture 5 and find:

请学生读第五幅图内容并找出 Is that the computer room? 学生根据文本回答:No, it’s not.

老师解释:“it’s not” means “isn’t”

No, it’s not = No, it isn’t.

(操练本句型,No ,it’s no.学生开火车读。)

(设计意图:使学生根据读图、看视频理解No ,it’s not.=No, it isn’t.)

4. Watch picture 6 and find:

What does the hippo say?

Ss:It’s time for lunch!

PPT出示钟表上12点的时刻,再出示It’s time for lunch!句型,引导学生思考句型的意思It` s time for lunch!

复习字母“i-e”发音,让学生读出“time ”(操练几组学生该单词发音,纠音。)

It` s time for lunch. (板书、领读、小火车操练。)

(设计意图:引导学生根据课件上的图片猜测It’s time for lunch.的意思,并根据字母组合发音规律拼读time。)

5.(1) Read the whole story and think it over:

Where is Zoom?

(设计意图:)整体回顾,读故事,想一想Zoom在哪儿呢?). (2)Watch and find :

Where is Zip?(看图6视频,找出答案。)

PPT呈现:

Where is Zip?

Zoom is in the_______.

How do you know?(要求学生思考并回答是从哪得知Zoom在餐厅里的?)

In picture6: Zoom says:“ I am full!”

T:full ?What’s meaning?

Ss :饱了。(Zoom在餐厅吃饱了出来了。)

PPT呈现河马先生学校的图片,再呈现我们自己学校的图片,进行情感教育。

(设计意图:通过对学校的图片欣赏与赞美,呼应歌曲our school,让学生感受学校的美丽,激发学生对学校的热爱。)

Step6 Homework

(设计意图:作业通过听并跟读故事,并用本单元所学句型介绍自己的学校,对所学知识进行延伸与运用。)
