一、教学内容分析

在unit10 里，学生已学习各种职业的具体职责。因此，在这一课里，学生在延续对unit10的各种职业的职责巩固的同时，初步理解和运用情态动词can,can’t谈论某人的能力。

二、教学目标

（一）语言知识目标

1、词汇：

(1) “四会”掌握词汇：can’t,get,down,get down,think,home,at home, could,ask,him (2) “三会”掌握词汇：hey,top,at the top of,dangerous 2、句型：The cat can’t get down/ at the top of. Can you see…?/What can we do?/Could he help?

3、语法：情态动词can,can’t的初步理解和运用

学会讨论职业职能

（三）学习策略目标

对所学用语和单词能主动练习和实践

（四）情感态度目标

学习在生活中遇到困难时，应该找谁帮助

三、教学重难点

1、情态动词can ，can’t的初步理解和运用

2、本课词汇较多，且有些单词比较难拼读，如dangerous,think,could,ask him等都比较难拼读，因此要加强新单词的拼读和运用。

四、教学策略

1、借助实物、图片、多媒体等媒介帮助学生学习语言知识。

2、创设情境帮助学生将所学运用于实际情况中，并充分发挥学生的想象力。

1、Warming up (1) Let’s Chant: What can you do ?

2、呈现与操练

(1)老师手持姚明图片

T： Who’s he ? S: He’s yaoming. T: He can play basketball. Can you play basketball? I can play basketball too. but I can’t fly. 板书： I can play basketball. I can’t fly. 学习 can’t (2)use “can,can’t” make sentences in pair. (3)老师拿出a toy cat, T: Hey, can you see this cat? It’s Mrs Lin’s cat . It’s cute. It can run and jump, and it can catch mice. But it is so naughty! Look! Where is it now?(老师一边讲,把小猫放在不同的位置上,让学生回答) S1: It’s on the desk.S2:…

(4)老师先让全班同学闭上眼睛,把猫藏起来,然后投影课文图片,再让学生睁眼,问: Where is the cat now? Is it at home? It’s at the top of the house. But It can’t get down now. It’s dangerous.

（1）老师带读课文，学生跟读课文。

（2）全班齐读课文。

（3）小组分角色朗读课文。

（4）同位分角色朗读课文。

（5）将课文的重点词挖空让学生填写，试背课文。

6、布置作业

（1）听、读、背课文三次。

（2）抄写并记忆新单词。

（3）完成《活动手册》P32。Ex.5
