(一)语言知识目标

1. “四会”单词:pale, first, medicine, take medicine, time.

2. “三会”单词:checkup.

3. “三会”句型:Take the medicine three times a day. (二)语言技能目标

1. 能按“三会”和“四会”的要求掌握本单元的单词。

2. 学生能流利地朗读课文,对单词、词语和句型能熟练上口。

3. 鼓励学习能力强的学生表演课文。

(三)学习策略目标

在语言交际运用中能借助手势、表情等进行交流。

(四)情感态度目标

1. 在与别人的讨论过程中善于表达自己的想法,也尊重别人的意见。

2. 保持学习英语的愿望和兴趣,主动参与有助于提高英语能力的活动。

三、教学策略

1. 新授课采用以旧带新、情境教学法引入句型和课文的学习。

2. 让学生在听课文、读课文和表演课文的过程中不知不觉掌握语言的运用。

四、教学重点、难点

1. “四会”单词和短语。

2. 能运用本课所学的句型和日常用语于实际交际活动中。

五、教学过程

(一)Revision(复习热身)

1. Review the dialogue of Unit 4, try to recite the dialogue. 2. Let’s chant. (二)Presentation(呈现操练)

1. Leading in: Janet’s is ill. She goes to the doctor’s. Today we’ll learn Unit 5 Janet Goes to the doctor’s 2. Present the dialogue: 1. Brainstorm:

When we talk about seeing the doctor, what do you think out? Learn: checkup

take the medicine 2. Listen to the dialogue and try to answer some questions.

Try to understand the whole meaning of the dialogue.

Learn: Let me give you a checkup first.

Take the medicine three times a day. 3. Listen and read the dialogue again and try to fill in the form.

Try to know the doctor’s questions and their answers. Learn: How much fruit do you eat every day?

Do you eat a lot of vegetables at school and at home?

Do you walk a lot every day?

Do you go to bed early?

plenty of = a lot of 可修饰可数和不可数名词

every day 前不用介词

I eat vegetables.

I don’t eat vegetables.

Janet likes reading.

Janet doesn’t like vegetables. 4. Read the dialogue and try to complete the passage.

Try to use some sentences to conclude the whole dialogue. 5. According to the dialogue, give advises to Janet.

Ex. 2 (三)Development(归纳拓展)

1. Conclude what the doctor and the patient can say. 2. Use the sentences we have learnt to make a dialogue in groups. 3. Act out your dialogue. 4. Understand: what should we do in our daily life? (四)Homework(作业布置)

1. Copy the new words and important sentences. 2. Make a dialogue by yourself.
