一、教学目标：

1.知识目标：通过阅读故事复习巩固本单元所学句型Is that the…?Yes, it is. /No, it` s not. This is....

2.能力目标：学生能在语言、图片的帮助理解故事内容，朗读故事,表演故事，并能恰当运用故事中的语言。

3.情感目标：感受学校的漂亮与温馨，培养学生热爱学校的情感。

二、教学重难点：

1.重点：学生能在语言、图片的帮助下读懂故事，并运用正确的语音语调朗读故事。

2.难点：学生能表演故事并在实际情景中运用所学语言。

三、教学准备：

相关音视频、Monkey、Hippo、Rabbit、Zip，Zoom的头饰。

四、教学过程：

Step1 Preparation Good morning boys and girls today let’s spend the good time on story.

1.教师播放歌曲《My school》

1）学生和老师一起拍手跟唱歌曲。

2）Answer the question：what is the song talk about？

（设计意图：）通过欣赏歌曲活跃课堂气氛导入话题。

2．Review The song is talking about the school，there are many rooms in the school. John` s school has many rooms, What are they? Let’s go and see!

1）头脑风暴复习单词句子。

（设计意图头脑风暴复习学过的学校课室,为学习新知做好铺垫。）

2）Talk about John` s school like this：

Is that(this) the…? Yes, it is. /No，it is n’t. （设计意图：）通过让学生谈论主情境图中的学校课室复习旧知并为学习新知做好铺垫。) Step2 Presentation 1.通过看文本图、听对话让学生感知文本。出示课本情境图问：

Where are they? They are in the hippo’s ___________.

（设计意图：通过看、听问答，让学生从整体上感知文本回答问题Where are they?

对文本内容有整体感知。）

（1）Read picture2,3,4,5 and circle：Where do they visit in Hippo `s school?

（设计意图：让学生读图2-5的内容圈出所参观的课室。培养学生读故事找重点的能力。）

(2) Watch picture2, 3, 4, 5and find：

Where do they visit in Hippo’s school?

再次听音频,找出小动物们参观的课室。

（设计意图：我通过让学生读故事、听故事视频选择出动物们参观的教室让学生找到故事的主线索）

Library, gym, music room, lunch room, computer room 2. Watch and answer：看第四幅图视频并回答Is that the lunch room? Yes or no？让学生通过

听音频频，听出Is that the lunch room?教师用PPT出示lunch room的图片。并让学生试读

lunch room由一名学生当小老师教读句型Is that the lunch room?

3. Read picture5 and find: （学生读第五幅图内容并找出）

Is that the computer room?

学生读第5幅图回答No.

教师问

How does the Hippo answer? 河马是怎样回答的？

No, it isn’t.学生回答。

教师引导学生说意思：

is n’t。学生开火车读。

（设计意图：使学生根据读图、听音频频猜测No ,it’s not.=No, it isn’t.）

4. Watch picture 6 and find：

What does the hippo say? *com （设计意图：通过看第六幅图回答参观完教师办公室后河马说了什么。）

It’s time for lunch! PPT出示It’ s time for lunch!再出示钟表上12点的时刻引导学生思考句型的意思It` s time for lunch!通过语音迁移字母“i-e”发音学生试读出“time ”, 并让学生领悟理解It` s time for lunch.的意思师板书、领读、小组内练习。（设计意图：引导学生根据课件上的图片猜测It’s time for lunch.的意思，运用元音字母发音规律试拼time。）

Step4 Production Act the dialogue in roles 1.师生示范表演对话。

2.小组内对话

3.小组汇报表演。

4.在原文的基础上改编一个新的对话故事。

5.Emotion education:师生一起看PPT进行情感教育
