T: Today we’ll learn Unit 4 What

are you doing? Part A Let's learn. (Write the title on the board.)

Activity 1 Presentation 1. Teacher asks some questions to lead to the new knowledge. T: What is weather like today?

Ss read the title together.

What can you do on the sunny S: I can ______on the sunny day. 的问题向学day?

生提问，既使学生克服紧张心理，很好的进入学习状态，又使教师比较自然的导入新课

T: If I give you a football, what S: I can play football. can you do now?

T: If I give you a basketball, what S: I can play basketball. can you do now?

Activity 2 Let’s learn

在教师从名词→动词短语→动词的现在分词形式的引导教学中，使学生在观察中找词语变化的规律，在学习中自己归纳知识。

简短的复习帮助学生理解记忆刚刚学过的内容，同时教师帮助学生总结归纳动词短语由原形变1. Teacher shows a picture about a

book on the screen. T: What is this? T: What can you do with a book? (Teach the phrase “read a book” )

S: It is a book. S: I can read a book.

2. Show a picture about reading a

book on the screen and ask. T: What is he doing?

S: He is reading a book. 3. Teach the phrase “reading a Ss: Reading a book book”

and sentence “He is reading a book.”

He is reading a book. (Same as before, teach the phrases

Activity 3 Drill Time
