Step I Lead in Teacher tells students her own trip and ask students some easy questions. Students should listen to teacher carefully and answer the teacher’s questions bravely. Teacher says that last summer holiday, I went to the Qinghai Lake. There is a beautiful lake and flowers. I took some pictures. So I like summer best because I like summer holiday. Which season do you like best? Today, we will learn four seasons. Step II Presentation 1. Use the pictures and features of four seasons to present the new words. 2. Teacher plays the PPT and asks students to look at the pictures. Then teacher introduces the pronunciation of each word. Step III Practice 1. Read aloud. Teacher asks students to read the new words loudly after teacher. Then teacher shows the main sentences of this class. 2. Pair work: Teacher asks students to practice the main words and the sentences in pairs. 3. Role-play: Teacher asks students to play roles about their own dialogues. Step IV Production 1. Read and match: Teacher asks students to read the sentences and match. 2. Teacher asks students to watch a video and chant. 3. Teacher asks students to write some short sentences about their own favorite season. Step V Summary Teacher summarizes the knowledge of this class.
