Teaching Process：

1、Greeting. Talk about the weather and date.

What’s the weather like today?

What day is it today? 2、Show the pictures and review the words:spring , summer , fall , winter。

3、Put the pictures of four season on the board. Then show the picture of ice skating and ask & answer:

A: What are they doing ? B: They are ice-skating. But we can’ t go ice-skating now . Learn the word “ice-skating”

Ask：When can we go ice-skating ? (Write “when” on the board.) 4、Have Ss point out the picture of skating.

5、Have Ss show the picture and ask “When is winter holiday? ”

Write “winter holiday” on the board。

6、Show the calendar of “January&February”

Elicit the answer:“

It’s in January and February .”

7、Learn “January&February”. 8、T ask & answer by self, “Is February before January?
