Unit 2 Vacation Plans (Sounds and words) 教学内容:Sounds and words 教学目标:

本课要求学生能够掌握字母y在单词中的发音【ai】并能根据发音规律拼读更多含有相同发音的单词。

教学重点:

1.指导学生正确朗读单词并在适当的语境中运用所学单词。

2.熟练朗读第二部分的歌谣。

教学难点:1.鼓励学生自己创造新词。

2.引导学生分辨字母y的两种发音并进行分类。

教学过程:

Step1:Let’s say! T: Boys and girls .Do you know this letter?(在黑板上写出字母y) Ss: It’s “y”. T:Good! Now look, how about this? And this? Ss: by, my. (老师分别在字母Y 前面加上b,m,使其变成单词by和my) (设计意图:老师从by和my这两个最简单的单词入手,目的是培养学生的观察力和主动拼读单词的能力,从而提高学生学习语音的自信心。) Step2:Let’s think! T:Can you make more new words just like? Now talk with your partners, please! (在by、my后面协商省略号,意思是让学生自己创造更多的新词,这些新词不一定要真实存在的。) Ss:”cy, dy, fy, gy, hy, ly, ny, py, ry, sy, ty, wy…”

(这个环节目的是让学生开动脑筋,大胆地“创造”新词。学生一开始可能会怕说错,所以老师先让学生进行小组讨论。这也是本课的难点之一。

Step 3Let’s learn! T:You are so great! And I also made some new words. Can you read them? (因为第一环节学生已经掌握了by和my的发音,所以下面主要学习的是cry,dry,fly 和why这四个词。在这里,老师同样可以放手让学生自己试着拼读,尝试过后,老师再来纠正发音。) T:Good try! Now please listen to the tape and read after it. Step 4:Practice

Play a game: Bombing. T:Now let’s play a game with these words. When you see the word, you read it; when you see a bomb, you need to say “bomb” loudly. Ss: OK. Let’s go! (通过这个游戏,让学生快速操练所学的单词)

Step 5:Time to relax! Learn the chant: A kite First, listen and choose.

Why, why, why do you ____(cry, fly)?

My kite is not in the sky.

Dry, dry, dry your ____(eyes, nice).

The kite is now flying high.

Then chant with the tape. Step 6: Challenge time. T:Boys and girls, do you know letter y has another sound? It’s [i].
