Lesson 8 TV and Phone 冀教版四年级上
学情分析:
本次授课的对象是小学四年级的学生。他们在经过一年的学习后,已经掌握了简单的英语语言知识,他们想象力丰富,对新鲜事物富有激情,乐于参与各种活动。因此,在本课教学中教师采取游戏、竞赛、猜谜、唱歌,PPT,简笔画,分角色表演等方式来组织学生进行活动,极大地调动学生积极性,培养学生学习英语的浓厚兴趣。并且借助旧知呈现新知,培养学生学习英语的兴趣和方法。 教材分析:
本课出自于冀教版小学四年级英语第二单元第八课。学生在第七课已经学习了在家晚上可以做的事情,如:做作业、读书、写故事和画画。第八课是在lesson 7 Homework 的基础上,更多的介绍了在家可以做的事情,如帮助父母、打电话、看电视和玩电脑。并且本单元的主题为 At Home, 主要学习在家的一些活动以及如何运用相关句
型对活动进行描述和问答,本课重点是运用
“What do you do at home?”句型
对在家做什么进行问答。
教学目标:
1、知识目标: ※掌握四会单词:TV, computer, phone, watch, help, talk, play.
※掌握重点短语: wacth TV, talk on the phone, play on the computer. ※掌握并能在人际交往中熟练运用句子:
What do you do at home? help my mum and dad. I + talk on the phone with my friends. watch TV after dinner. play on the computer. 2、能力目标:
能听说读写本课所学单词,并会用简单的英语对话。养成听录音和跟读句子的习惯。
3、情感目标:极大调动学生积极性,培养学生用英语表达生活中一些行为的能力。
教学重点: 1)Recite and write the important words : TV, computer,phone. 2)Master and recite the important sentences: What do you do at home? I help my mum and dad. I talk on the phone with my friends. I watch TV after dinner. 教学难点:
1. 单词watch, computer, phone的读音、意义理解和识记。
2. They can use these sentences to communicate with others in life.(能用本课重点句子去和别人交际。) 3.To cultivate the students’
interest.(培养学生的兴趣。) 教学过程设计:
Ⅰ. Warming –up (2分钟) (1)
Greeting: T: Hello,boys and girls! Ss: Hello,teacher! T: How are you today? Ss: I’m fine,thanks. (设计意图:英语问候互动,通过日常生活用语的问答,使学生很快地进入到英语课堂中。) (2)Listen to a song: <
T: What do you do in the evening?
S1:In the evning, I do my homework. S2:I read a book. S3:I write a story. S4: I draw a picture for my story.………(教师利用短语卡片来提问,学生回答,然后同桌对话来达到复习的效果。) T:Then what do you do at home? Today we will learn lesson 8 TV and Phone. T:Let’s review : in, on, under. (学生举手回答,以及同桌组组合作展示。通过一问一答,组组展示来赢得苹果。奖励极大地调动起来学生积极性,学生都很积极参与。) III . New Concepts (20分钟) (1)T:Let’s guess.What is it? (教师展示电视图片,让学生猜画的是什么,引出新单词TV。)
S:电视。
T:Yes, TV. Now follow me:TV,TV, T-V,电视。 Ss: TV,TV, T-V,电视。 T:OK!Now,look at what is it?(展示电脑图片)
Ss:电脑。
T: Computer,computer,c-o-m-p-u-t-e-r,电脑. Read after me.
Ss: Computer,computer,c-o-m-p-u-t-e-r,电脑. T: Think: What’s this?(展示电话图片) Ss:电话。
T:Phone, phone, p-h-o-n-e,电话。Read it. Ss: Phone, phone, p-h-o-n-e,电话。(设计意图;猜谜游戏迅速的将学生的注意力集中。图片使学生很好的理解了重点单词意思。)
T: One minute to recite.(采取一分钟记忆法快速记单词。) (然后采取一个一个的读拼,组组背诵,组组比赛,并通过游戏“萝卜蹲”来检测掌握情况。中间不忘加分制。)
板书短语:watch TV, play on the computer, talk on the phone 领读几遍。
(2)讨论:What’s Jenny doing at home? Try to read the part 1 and translate it.(设计意图:尝试自己读并翻译,提高学生的读译能力。)
(3)listen the tape and follow it.(听录音跟读,锻炼学生的听力。) (4)小组讨论并练习:What do you do at home? 尽量用英语表达。
(找学生带动作桌桌展示,组组展示,赢取苹果。)
(5)Part 2 Let’s do it! A)Look and write.看图片完成句子。 a. The phone is ___________ the chair. b. The _______ is __________ the box. c. The _______ is __________ the desk. (采取学生先做—分组讨论---逐组展示—教师补充) B) Pair work. Ask and answer. Then tick. 分组练习,让学生以表演的形式呈现。
