Unit 7 What time is it ?

一、教学目标:1.学习新单词time ,o’clock, eleven , twelve.

2. 学会运用十二个数词表达,和询问整点时间:

What time is it ? It’s eleven o’clock.

二、教学重点:掌握询问时间的句型和回答:

What time is it ? It’s ______ o’clock. Is it ______ o’clock? Yes, it is . No, it isn’t.三、教学难点:1. twelve的读音和拼写。

2. a clock(同音词)o’clock

3. 询问时间的句型及回答。

四、教学准备:课件,实物钟。每个学生自己准备钟。

五、教学班级:三(6)班

六、教学过程:

Step1:放歌曲

Step2:Greetings:

Step3:T:Very good!Today,we’ll learn Unit 7 time (指板书,带读1次。)

Boys and girls,can you count one---ten?

S: Yes.

T: OK! The whole class stand up,please. Let’s count and do the fimgers exercises.(按课件,边看边做。)

T:Good job!Sit down!

教师出示“ten”的手指操,再加上“one”的手指操,出示“ten”and“one”is eleven. ( 板书eleven)

T:Pay attention:This is seven. 我们把s 改el,就变成eleven.

(按课件)

T:(按课件)Look!What are these?

S:They’re apples.

T: Yes. They’re apples. They’re twelve apples.(课件)

老师出示eleven的手指操,再加one is twelve 的手指操。(板书:twelve.)

Step4:T: Now ,guss(出示课件)

T:What’s this?S:It’s a clock.

(教师一边按课件,一边自问自答):What time is it ? It’s seven o’clock.

(板书:o’clock, 并分ABCD组读,分男子组和女子组读,两个两个读。)

教师引导学生区别a clock 和o’clock 的异同点。(课件显示)

一个钟点钟

Step5:T(按课件):Boys and girls. Look! It’s a clock. This is a short hand. And this is a long hand. (时针短,分针长。)

教师自问自答:What time is it?It’s one o’clock.

教师用“What time is it?”边做手指操边逐一问学生。全部讲完后,学生齐读一篇。Step6:T:Let’s guess.

T(出示幻灯片“one o’clock”):What time is it?提问3个学生。

T:I like the clock. It can tell me the “time”. (板书:time.)

T(按课件):再教What time is it ?(教师带读2次)S: It’s nine o’clock.

什么时候

T(按课件):T: What time is it? S: It’s eleven o’clock.

T: What time is it? S: It’s twelve o’clock.

(要多练句型)

Step7:T:Now,let’s listen to a song.

Step8:Look at the “The lucky turntable”and say the sentences.

What time is it?(过渡)a. Is it one o’clock? (教师拨动实物时钟)Yes, it is .

b. Is it three o’clock? (教师用左手、右手作时针和分针提问。)

No, it isn’t. (教师示范三次)

Step9:Teaching target:

教师带读一次,然后分男子组和女子组读;之后,把全班分成AB两大组读进行问与答;

学生同位之间互相拿出手上的模型钟进行对话练习;请2位学生上讲台表演对话。
