Unit 5 Topic 1 Section C Material analysis 本节课主要活动为Section C -1a。

1a呈现了在前两课中多次提到的音乐剧The Sound of Music的故事梗概。

在Pre-reading环节利用师生讨论电影和电影中美妙的音乐的方式进行导入。并在这个过程中运用本课出现的新词汇和新短语，并加以解释，为理解课文扫清语言障碍。While-reading环节由浅入深进行阅读。第一遍了解课文大意。第二遍疏通文意，完成1c的问答。第三遍细读文章，完成表格。Post-reading环节旨在进行语言的输出训练。最后进行情感升华，教育学生要做个善良，乐观，开心的人，热爱生活，爱自己。

Students analysis 学生通过Section A 和Section B的铺垫，内心对这部电影充满好奇，迫切地想进一步了解电影情节。

（3）能准确朗读课本的课文，并基本能复述影片大意。

Step 3 While-reading 1.Skimming 1.Let students skim to the passage and find out the main idea of the passage. 2.Check the topic sentences. 设计意图：训练学生略读的阅读技巧，快速找出主旨句，能帮助学生理解文章的概要

1. Let students scan to the passage and answer questions Q1.Why did Maria go to the Von Trapp family? Q2.Why were the Von Trap family sad? Q3.How did Maria cheer the children up? 2.

Check the answers. 设计意图：让学生细读寻找文章中特定的信息,进一步了解文章内容。

3. Careful reading

Let students read 1a carefully complete the table in 1b.

2.Choose 3 students to read each paragraph and fill in the blanks. 3.Explan some language points in each paragraph. 设计意图：更深层次理解文章的内容, 讲解文章重点和难点，彻底解决理解障碍.

Step 3 Post-reading

1.Let students read the passage by themselves, and then discuss the question:

What do you think of Maria? 2.The whole class try to retell the passage with the help of the teacher. 3.Discuss in groups and then retell the passage with the help of key words. 设计意图：通过个别，集体朗读培养学生语感，复述文章有助于学生口语表达中的语言准确性，提高了学生通过自己独立思考，来解决问题的能力。
