一．定位：

input-based, 阅读理解为主。

二. 教学目标：

1.

认识和理解单词America, square, spread, destroy, deforestation, decreasing等,以及短语：thousands of, as a result等

2. 能根据主阅读篇章提供的信息，回答相关的问题，了解亚马逊热带雨林

3．情感上激发学生形成良好意识：我们要保护环境，树立环保意识，从自我做起和身边小事做起。

三.教学重点：Read the passage about the Amazon rainforest，get know about the current situation of the Amazon rainforest and why we should protect it. 四.教学难点：Promote students to realize the importance of rainforest, and to react in daily lives to protect the environment.

五.教学环节设计：

Step1.Leading-in Q1: Do you know where is the lung of Guangzhou ? Q2: Do you know where is the lung of the Earth? (Guess the answer) A.

Step2.Pre-reading 1) Vocabulary presentation: Lead Ss to learn some new words by showing some pictures and sentences.

Step3. While- reading 1. Fast reading:

Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks on the learning paper, do not allowed to open the book (Before listening, lead Ss to predict firstly)

2. Second-reading:

1) Read the first part ( Para.1)of the article and answer the questions:

①Where is the Amazon rain forest? ②How large is the Amazon rain forest?

2) Read the second part

(Para.2)of the article and finish the task ①

Step4. Post- reading 1) Listen to an article about Baiyun Mountain, while listening, take the notes on your leaning paper, following the structure and try to retell

the passage according to the notes you were write down.

教学反思：

整个课堂的设计以亚马逊雨林篇章为中心：将More practice文章主要分为三个部分进行解析,分别设计进行不同的任务。课堂下达指令语速适中、清晰。最后的读后拓展活动是围绕一篇讲述广州白云山的篇章，亲近学生熟悉的事物，并且文段按照和今天学习的主篇章一样的篇章结构，让同学听取信息、记录关键词并进行retell，也和课堂前的导入部分相呼应：广州白云山是广州之肺，而亚马逊雨林是世界之肺。但课堂仍很多不足的地方：听力部分练习的时候，可拉开左边写着生词的那块黑板给同学们参照，左边的副黑板，书写单词+音标+词性+中文意思非常清晰、便利。同学们听力时候听到的生难词不会写时，可参照到。课堂活动的设计可难度更加增大，同学们在上课期间表现较紧张，鼓励学生们多多表现。以及课堂时间的把控可以做的到更好！
