一、热身/复习(Warm1．师生相互问候。

2．Sing a song：The More We Get Together. 二、新课呈现(Presentation) (一)学习B部分Let's Learn

1．Talk about the students in the picture. Point to a girl and say：“She is tall.”Point to another man

and say：“He is taller.”“A is taller than B．”然后学生指名谈论教室里的人或物。如：Xiao Boyang is tallerer than Yang Junjie.（分小组合作学习）

A is /are more ------than B. 2．课件创设情景，出示一下小男孩图片：

T：Look at this picture.Do you know who he is? S：Is your brother/classmate/friend…？

3．学生齐读课题后，教师引导学生理解课题的含义。

教师随机出示图片，教学单词，“a piece of meat”，“drop”，利用图片帮助学生理解单词的含义。

5．听课文B部分录音，学生跟读单词。

6．引导学生猜测原因，培养学生的发散性思维能力，同时为本课的寓言故事埋下伏笔。

(二)学习A部分Let's Listen and Say

1．学生快速阅读课文A部分故事，回答问题．

T：Peter likes reading. Let's enjoy his story，read it as quickly as try to answer the questions：(板书下面问题：) Who gave the dog a piece of meat？(A man in the shop.) 2．教师引导学生回答问题。

3．听课文A部分录音，模仿正确的语音、语调，从中掌握新词难句的正确读法。

(三)找出课文中的过去式（分小组合作学习）

1.找出课文中的过去式2．分组展示汇报复述

四、作业布置(Homework) 1．练习把A部分的故事讲给家人听。

2．朗读并背诵课文，抄写单词。
