Talk about the correct ways to eat different food Teaching steps: Step1 (Lead in) Show a picture about International Food Festival to the students first .Then at the same time show the five questions. Let’s them talk about in groups. Question1. How did the food festival go? Question2. Were the results worth the effort? Question3. Did the parents and the teachers like the food? Question4 .What foods and drinks did they sell? Question5 Did they make a lot of money? Step2（Review）

Show some pictures to review the names of the food 2.

Lead in the correct ways to eat. 3.

Make sentences with partners. Example:

Maria: What did you make for the food festival, Mina? Mina: I made fried noodles.

Maria: How do we eat them? Do we need a fork? Mina: No, you use chopsticks. Maria: I don't think I can eat it very neatly

Mina: Well, if you want to, you can use forks to eat fried noodles. Step3 (Presentation) Pre-reading Lead to 1a. Read 1a loudly by themselves. Show the three questions to the students. After read the passage talk about it and find the answers. While-reading Ask the students read the passage again, at the same time listen to 1a.Ask the students to find out the key points in the text in groups. Then ask some students tell the knowledge by themselves. Post-reading Read the passage again and find out three sentences 1.

Preview Section D. 教学反思: 本课是Section C的一篇阅读课文，在讲授新课之前，我首先对本单元所学的知识，国际食品美食节进行了简单系统地复习这样可以顺利地导入新课，其次在讲解文章时我分为课前阅读（pre-reading），阅读中(while-reading)，阅读后（post-reading）三部曲，并设置问题，用这样的学习方式提高学生阅读能力。本课不足之处就是学生还不能够积极主动地回答问题，不能主动思考问题，我下一步要结合教学内容和教学目标，采用有效的教学手段培养学生核心素养，使学生形成正确的价值观和高尚的道德品质。
