Unit 1 Daming is having a birthday party.

learning aims:

(1)能听懂、会说、会认、会读trumpet ,ring ,doorbell, loudly等单词。

(2)能听懂会说:

Daming is having a birthday party.

Daming is playing the trumpet ,but the phone is ringing.等句子。

(3)理解课文内容,并能把所学的语言运用到现实生活中。

教学步骤

Step 1. Warm-up and show the learning aims

1. Say a chant. Say and do actions.

Play ,play .I’m playing . Run ,run .He’s running

Eat, eat. She’s eating . Sing, sing .They are singing

Have ,have .We’re having .

2. Show the learning aims

T: Very good!Today we’ll learn Module 5 Unit 1 Daming is having a birthday party.(板书课题)First, please look at our learning aims, OK? (出示本课学习目标,教师慢慢读,学生仔细看、认真听。)

Step 2. Learn the new words and the key sentences.

Ask the students to learn the new words by themselves.

1. Try to read by themselves.

2. Listen to the tape and read after the tape.

3. Let Ss read the words in their own small groups.

Step 3.Learning the text

T: Today is Daming’s birthday ,He is having a birthday party .Do you want to go to Daming’s birthday party ? Let’s go !

1. Play the tape again, the students listen and underline the important sentences.

2. Read after the tape.

3. Play the tape .Ss listen and try to answer:

What’s Daming doing ?

What’s happening ?

4、Ask and answer the questions in pairs.

Step 4. Practice

1. Show Picture 1

S2: The phone is ringing.

2. Show others pictures, ask and answer as the same way.

3. Play a game: Do and say

e.g. Lingling is speaking English, but Fangfang is playing.

Step 5. Summary Say a chant

Step 6. Finish a task

1. Read the text in pairs.

2. Copy the words and the key sentences three times

1. Look at the pictures of Activity 1 carefully.

2. Play the tape and ask the children to listen for “but”.

3. Play the tape again and repeat.

4. Finish activity 2. Ask the children to ask and answer in pairs.

Step 3:Say the Poem

1. Ask the children to look at the pictures and listen to the tape carefully.

2. Play the tape several times and ask the children to song together.

Step 4:Look, do and say.
