Greetings --- A Good Morning song.

T: Look, how many teachers are there in our class? Turn around, let’s count! Are you nervous? Don’t be nervous. Let’s say hello to them. Turn around! Sing the good morning song. 2.

Guessing game. Reviewing numbers 1-10

PPT first shows one pink ball. The teacher asks “What’s this? and how many balls?”

Add two blue balls on the PPT, and then add three green balls, and then add four yellow balls. The teacher asks students “how many balls?”

and the students can answer with the sentence on the blackboard.

The teacher closes her eyes and claps the desk. When she stops, she asks “how old are you?” and the student with a ball in his/her hand should answer with “I’m ...” All the others say “You’re ...” together.

3. Teaching the sentence: “How old are you?”

The students match the 2 animals and four students in the video with their ages. When one student finishes one match, he/she can say “I’m ...(Daming)” All the others ask him/her with“How old are you?” That student can say “I’m...(six)”

PPT shows some animals and their respective ages, one at a time. The students choose the write age and read it. Then all the others say together. Homework
