Module 3 Unit 1 The sun is shining. 一、The analysis of the textbook This module mainly review the present continuous tense。This unit revolves around a letter from Daming written to Lingling . There are some phtos in the letter,Daming uses the present continuous tense to describe the content of the photos. 二、Teaching objectives 1.Knowledge Aims a. Understanding of vocabulary: shine, cry, everyone, just,fly away b. Understanding of phrases:send photos,write to,sing in the tree,fly away,start to,our sanwiches. c. Understanding and using of sentences: The sun is shining .The birds are singing in the trees. The ducks are eating our picnic. 2.Ability Aim: Ss can use be+V-ing to describe the activities of pictues or photos 3.

The emotion goal: To arouse ss.’ active participation in classroom practice and develop a good classroom collaborative spirit. 三、Main points and difficult points 1.Main points: “be(am / is / are ) +V. ing”
